Petraues or Steve Wynn will make Obama look like a stupid stuttering 5th grader

General Petraeus' lack of interest in the presidency makes him the best candidate of either party. It is well beyond time that American voters stopped electing people who crave the power and celebrity of political office and start electing real working folks whose most important goals are the preservation of our constitutional republic.

We could always ask Stormin Norman Schwarzkopf to run if Petraeus doesn't....

Face it we are never going to unite so perhaps its time to divvy up the USA into two halves. The liberals on one side and the conservatives on another.

Joking of course!

I sincerely hope we still have a republic that still has a chance to be returned to its former state after Mr. Obama and his minions have had at it for 4 years. It might be best to start all over again if the general runs and is elected. Time will tell, but who knows Mr. Obama might see the light and fire his present advisors and go to supply side economics, but I think his agenda is the destruction of a capitalist society to return the "wealth to its rightful owners".

I once mentioned it and was informed tthat his political ambitions were, "Shermanesque, as in American Civil War Gen. William T. Sherman. Adding that what part of no do they not understand ? When being rumored that he should run. But, the old Capt., Sixtus, said with a smile, that knew that when he survived being shot, he knew that he was desstined to higher things.

I remember in 1952, Eisenhower showed no interest when he was actively courted by President Truman. To the latter's chagrin IKE later decided to run as a Republican. Let us hope that General Petreaus will run. He would become a true unifier of our nation, the goal that has eluded the current occupant.

How I wish, as a former military man retired after 21 years, he would become the President. We really need him for national security, which seems to now be "wanting".
