Scientist: Carbon Dioxide Doesn't Cause Global Warming

I believe that the government won't care about the facts. A CO2 tax is too much money to cancel. They're more about the money they can make on the fallacy than they are about the future of our crops. Look Al Gore. He's the poster by for the motto, "Make money with Global Warming Lies."

There is no cause and effect established between CO2 and global warming. It's well established warming is caused by sun increasing output. All real data shows no temperature trend rate increase in any season as a result of manmade CO2. This is positively 100% established scientist fact.

The problem with this debate is that the news media do not publish the 100,000 years data on temperature cycles, do not publish and show that every season has straight line trends not curved upwards trends, politicians are uninformed, many scientists are lazy and only quote there are 200 reports that say CO2 causes global warming when 10’s of thousands of scientists say these reports are self-deserving, only based in simulations not real data, and are wrong. Thus, like the women spouting off below, we see virulent bursts of angry statements but no reasoned facts to support their views. Of course it’s warming; the sun’s output is still increasing. We haven’t reached the top of the usual 100,000 year cycle yet. Four of these cycles have been measured using ice core samples, and they are all similar.

People, do your homework, insist the media do theirs. And stop worrying about warming and start worry about running out of fuel and not having the technologies you need for future energy in place when you need them because you are wasting $billions in research and machine development on CO2. Stop being ignorant and start being educated on this issue.

CO2 being 1.5 times heavier than air, how dose it stay

up in the atmosphere to cause global warming ?

As your article states CO2 is good for us, containing

75% oxygen.

Mauna Loa shows CO2 at 395 ppm so right there he's either lying or stupid. Also, I'm relatively sure that the ecosystem, nor the troposphere works the same way as a submarine - the idea that he would compare the two is idiotic. As usual, fools like this want to push the envelope, not knowing where the outside of the envelope actually is. Taunt the tiger and he may eat you. By the by, this guy is also a retired oil executive from Houston so...you do the calculus.

That simply seems like too much. The Earth doesn't enter a barren state over night, it takes millions of years. A global increase in temperature would support additional life, but have you give thoughts to disease? Additionally separate parts of the world would be affected differently. Trying to control our Earth will inevitably doom us, and yes it sucks to say but we're overpopulated. The solution is temperance and restraint, not radical alterations.

Still I would look at your evidence, I just don't know that I'd buy your book.

I like what Dr. Steward has to say. However, people will automatically write him off (like what has already been done in other comments below). But what if he is correct? People believe things they are told, and have been told about global warming and CO2 for years and years now. So of course they would ignore things that are contrary to what they already hold to be true and self-evident. This is dangerous though, and needs to stop. The global warming issue has become too political to know the truth about what actually happens. We, as humans, need to set political parties and ideology aside, and actually have an unbiased study of what actually does cause warming, and what CO2 actually does to our environment. Until then, we will get no where, and if there really is a problem, we wont see it, wont fix it, and in turn, hinder the future of the world. Way to go.

Yes, Dr. Steward is right on. There is NO empirical data that supports the AGW hypothysis which is why none of the Warmists will debate it. Oceanic alkalinity, the sea is not acid, remains stable and many studies have shown that increased oceanic CO2 will increase marine life as it does terrestrial. The sea level rose 6"in the 20th Century and is on track to do the same or less in the 21st. Social uproar will be assured if we have cooling and/or a drop in CO2 as famine such as struck during the Little Ice Age will again stalk the land. I don't know what CO2 has to do with disease, but there is a 10x increase in deaths in cold months vs warm ones. Enjoy the Holocene Modern Warm Period. The cold bad times will come soon enough.

I always enjoy a good laugh. Yes, with the highest CO2 in recorded history, we need more. He doesn't addess what he acknowledges would be a crash in sea food stocks, ocean acidification, loss of farmland, huge social uproars, huge increases in disease, etc. Hey, plants would love it, and that's all need to know, right. Oh, and pass me my share of the corporate profits, now.
