I agree 100%. the guys is a freaking idiot. i hate stupid democrats that don't really want what is best. these people are born "liberated" which is a bad excuse for wanting to be different whether it is good or bad. every B*itched and moaned about bush spending the money that he did but if i recall correctly, the deficit is 3 or 4 times what is was a year ago. ONE YEAR and this a-hole puts us in that much more of a hole. i really didn't understand "cash for clunkers"? did any of you? let's be honest, if you drove a "clunker" it is because you cannot afford to buy a new vehicle in the first place. so what does obama do? lets help those people who wont help themselves, giving handouts. i am a 22 yr old student who is paying for his own vehicle, house, and tuition. that idiot wont even give me financial aid because i make too much money. i guess since he comes from a rich family he doesnt know how much tuition is. back to the clunker statement, people who have a piece of junk drive it because they cant afford anything better. we are in this economical crisis because banks loaned money to poor people with fluctuating interest rates that ultimately they couldnt pay back when the rates fluctuated. foreclosure. so obama comes up with bright idea that we should give poor people loans on cars they cant afford. what happens now asks the uneducated tree huggers? the people who couldnt afford the vehicles to begin with still cannot, therefore they wil not pay of their loan for the vehicle because they still cannot afford it and the banks are now out more money than they were prior to the cash for clunkers BS. good call obama, good call. oh yea did i mention that i pay for my own healthcare also? it is the way the world works. work hard, provide for your family, and prosper. if you dont do any of the above it is because you are lazy. i wont take the excuse that people grow up in bad situations and are not properly educated because i grew up in a small town in east texas where no one is eduacated and the average salary per year is less than $14,000 per year. it can be done if you work. and the reason every other nation has universal healthcare and does it well is because every other communist country isnt america. we are better because we are different. there is a reason every nationality wants to live here and believe me, it isnt because we suck and they are helping us. it is clearly because we are better! i hate politics because it really doesnt matter what we think or say they do what they want regardless. all it does is ruin our day and make us mad so i am finished. let us be a little smarter next election America please?

Why is 50% a B minus? sounds like a D to me.

The polls reflect the news media's choice of stories. We still have a deficit 4 times larger than Gerge W. Bush, an expensive "stimulus" plan that creates more job losses, and a weakened national security. Not tho mention a Healthcare Bill that when all is said and done (and tons of money spent) we will still haveas many people uninsured (according to the Congressional Budget Office).

Obama is nothing less than an abomination. I live in Nairobi, Kenya and have just learned that this guy has directed that the U.S. Postal Service issue a new Postage Stamp acknowledging Eid, a Muslim religious holiday. Yet "In God we Trust" is now illegal in the United States, as well as the School Prayers and Allegance to the Flag. This, after Obamination is awarded a "Nobel Peace Prize" in the 'hope' he might one day earn it. This award has, obviously, detracted from the former meaning of the Nobel Peace Prize that can never be taken seriously again. The award to Obama was obviously a political award to boost Obamination's standing in the polls. I still find it hard to believe that America elected this clown. Oh, yes, are we now so sure Iran has no WMD??? Joan Edwards, Nairobi, Kenya (formerly of New York State, U.S.A.)

I must say, the negative tone of the anti-Obama crowd fascinates me. They beat the drums, they stand in the streets screaming "DEATH PANELS!" and they type hateful comments on the internet. All the while, somebody's got to govern this nation, and it's fallen to Obama and the Democrats to mop up after 8 years of imperial Presidency gone astray. Obama is far from perfect, but he is a wonderful President. I caucused for Hillary, but easily accepted Obama's nomination -- in spite of rightwing blowhards screaming that "Clinton's supporters are all going to vote against him, they will, just you wait, they hate him, he's evil, they would rather die than vote for Obama." Rightwingers were wrong about the Obama candidacy, and they are wrong about his presidency. Thank you.

I am sorry, but I simply do not believe this poll. I think it is nothing, but fictionalized propoganda. From the internet to the street I can find no love or support for obama. Unemployment is soaring. The massive debt of a stimulus even failed to provide the promised construction jobs. He scrapped our defense shields alienating our allies, and a week later we find out Iran does have longer range missles. He has no control of the health care debate, and refuses to accept that America has soundly rejected his idea of reform. He continues to try and force something on the American people that they don't want. People do not want the radical change he has in mind. Refusing to meet or talk with your Generals in Afghanistan because that would mean you would have to make a decision and committ to it right or wrong. He has failed to come through on even one promise. He is worse than Bush. Less Transparent, More Executive power, Following Bush on Iraq, Rendidtion, Patriot Act. Both the right and left are disillusioned with this con-artist. If anyone claims to be happy with his leadership I would like to know what drugs they are taking. This is the biggest piece of propoganda I have ever seen. Never say the media is not biased, you need look no furhter than this article. obama taking charge of the health care debate, that made me laugh so hard I spit my coffee on my computer screen. Who would believe that?!?!?! Carrying himself well at the UN. Everyone shoud see the Telegaph article on why the UN loves obama, because he is weak!!! Yes according the UK paper other countries are happy with Obama because he is such a weak leader. So I don't consider that a good showing at the UN. Maybe they were nice to him, but that is because they can totally ignore him, Olympics anyone???

I have yet to see where Mr. O is taking US. In the meantime, I am buckling my belt and preparing for the long ride...I am stuck on his wave for good or for bad... these two cartoons say what I mean...http://typobounty.com/Funny/Obama_1.htm and http://typobounty.com/Funny/Obama_2.htm

The Obama defenders are pathetic. All they can do is claim It's Bush's fault, and if that doesn't work they throw the race card. They complain about Glenn Beck, but it's pretty obvious they have never watched him and are only getting second hand opinions passed along by the left wing media. If they really want to face the truth they are going to have to sneak off and actually watch Fox news once in awhile.

What kind of change did you want? More transparency? Nope. Less spending? No. More executive power? Yes. Bigger government programs and more debt than ever imagined before? Got it. An indecisive and inexperienced president who just lets the congressional crooks write the bills? Paybacks and cronyism? Nothing but Marxist or left wing radicals for associates, who are now behind the scenes helping to shape the change? If you're in a union, broke, lazy or stupid, then I guess you're pretty happy. Personally, I am looking forward to Nov. 2010.

HERE IS THE TRUTH....

Of the 5 billing now in progress, the two versions (1 from house and 1 from senate ) will DEFINITELY have the following characteristics:

1. NO TORT REFORM - lawyers control the process and this injustice will continue. No reform here.

2. NO PORTABILITY except in very exceptional circumstances. No reform here.

3. PREMIUMS FOR EVERYONE PAYING FOR INSURNACE will be taxable (and if your employer pays for your family plan, then you should plan on a $3,000 to $6,000 tax hike).

4. No public option. HOWEVER, there will be the coops started and everyone without insurance will be REQUIRED to pay for this option, costing on average $4,000 per family per year (after tax).

5. SAVINGS FROM REDUCTIONS IN MEDICARE!!! There will be $500 billion to $700 billion in cost reductions carved out of the MEDICARE. Too bad if you are over 65.

6. The rest - 1200 pages will be filled with exceptions and requirements for bureaucrats to create committees and pricing formulas and cost triggers, etc. Lots of detail for clever people to make money off this thing for years to come!!!

That is what you get. Save this note. Mark my words this is what you will get. But hey, OBAMA said if you like your plan and doctor you get to keep your plan and doctor. What he FAILED TO MENTION was that you will be PAYING A LOT MORE and GETTING A LOT LESS in services.

Mark My words....!!!!

Looks like the electorate where Mr. Dutton lost his run for office remember the former administration better than he does. I expect Mr. Obama and his regime will get the hang of governing before too much longer. Apparently he appointed too many legislative types into key positions, so lacks a great deal of executive experience. Many of those guys will grow with the job, hopefully, and we can begin to see better results.
