Obama Policies Turn Off Independents

Lets see, the polls were taken by Republican polsters. What other result did you expect??

I am dismayed by the shrillness of some of the opposition. It seems so illogical. Obama inhereted the worst situation imaginable:Quagmires in Iraq and Afganistan;a near depression due to incompetence, greed and deregulation; a tax structure that did not produce enough revenue even in the so called boom (bubble) years, a whopping deficit even before the bailouts began. All the far right can do is scream Nazi, socialist, Markist, facist at someone who is trying to fix the mess left by the Bush Administration. Where is the loyal opposition? Where is the debate of reason to help formulate solutions to these horrendous problems?

I am an American independent and I am happier With President Obama than I am with the fear mongering and lies of the republican party. I wish someone was brave enough to put one of the health care bills online to be debated but I doubt that will happen (it would be to much work). The democrats are not without blame either. I do believe president Obama is trying to stay neutral but has made a few errors himself. But he has stayed away from the race card but other democrats has used the race card.

The president is doing his job but the parties is making it hard because to them it is a party and they are not considering the lives there games will effect.

As far as I am concerned we should vote out both democrats and republicans and encourage other parties to come up with there own candidates. Thats right we have more choices than republicans and democrats

Another thing If people were listening to the presidents speech they would know that the president is not taking any money from Medicare, He is taking money from Medicare D and savings from Medicare fraud savings. If people need to find arguments I am sure they can without making themselves look foolish. People who come up with such lies knows we the people are not paying attention so they can get one over on us, little that they know some of us do pay attention. You can listen to all the speeches at www.msnbc.com then you also will know more and will not be affected as much by those who would insult your intelligence.

The Independants gave Pres. Obama the victory and he announced and campaigened on the very policies that he has begun to put in place. I do not believe that they are leaving him on those policys,if they are leaving him it is mainly because of the lies from the other side of the aisle .

I think the two most serious threats to our country are Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, more

than President Obama whom I consider dangerous.

Frankly, voters should be turned off by both Democrats and Republicans. Neither party is serving the interests of the American party.

The smart Independents will abandon by the Democrats and Republicans and seek 34d party candidates who will begin to correct the huge problems created by the Democrats and Republicans.

Sure, there will be the old saw that you are throwing your vote away. I'd suggest you are throwing your vote, and your country, away when you vote for Democrats and Republicans.

Think about it. Do you want REAL change or just more empty promises from slick politicians?

I never voted for Bush, but every day, I miss those idiots more and more.

don of OH 6:27AM September 24, 2009

when people are really pissed off it doesn't matter who is resurgent all that matters is your not them. The fact is Independents didnt vote for Bush anyway. In 2000 all VP Gore had to do was win his home state or West VA which hadnt voted Republican since reconstuction fact is Gore said he wanted to restrict Gun sales and the day before the Election it came out Bush had gotton a DUI in Maine so any way politics can shift quickly.

If Independents have already forgotten about the disasrous Bush administration, they will soon get over doubts their about Barack Obama.

Would you really expect any result other than "Obama Policies Turn Off Independents" from this group? The only suprise is that they don't say independents are waiting for a birth certificate.

WHO IS RESURGENT REPUBLIC?

Ed Gillespie, a former chairman of the Republican National Committee and counselor to President Bush

Whit Ayres, a Republican pollster.

Haley Barbour, former RNC chairman;

George Allen, former chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC);

Bill Paxon, former chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC);

Weber, former member of the House Republican Leadership;

Mary Matalin, former Assistant to the President and former executive director of the Republican National Committee.
