Carroll’s guests are Ronnie Graves and Allan Schwartz, former members of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) Emergency Rescue Team. After the problems we exposed with the Pang Animal Haven “rescue”, we found many others have also raised concerns regarding HSUS’ unprofessional conduct and “unethical” and inaccurate publicity. Most of the emergency team have resigned due to these issues.

Praise the LORD, my protector! He trains me for battle and prepares me for war. He is my protector and defender, my shelter and saviour, in whom I trust for safety. He subdues the nations under me.

LORD, what are mortals, that you notice them; mere mortals, that you pay attention to them? They are like a puff of wind; their days are like a passing shadow.

O LORD, tear the sky apart and come down; touch the mountains, and they will pour out smoke.

Send flashes of lightning and scatter your enemies; shoot your arrows and send them running. Reach down from above, pull me out of the deep water, and rescue me; save me from the power of foreigners, who never tell the truth and lie even under oath.

I will sing you a new song, O God; I will play the harp and sing to you. You give victory to kings and rescue your servant David. Save me from my cruel enemies; rescue me from the power of foreigners, who never tell the truth and lie even under oath.

May our sons in their youth be like plants that grow up strong. May our daughters be like stately pillars which adorn the corners of a palace. May our barns be filled with crops of every kind. May the sheep in our fields bear young by the tens of thousands. May our cattle reproduce plentifully without miscarriage or loss. May there be no cries of distress in our streets.

Happy is the nation of whom this is true; happy are the people whose God is the LORD!

Nice story you got here. It would be great to read a bit more concerning that matter.

I know deer in Kentucky grow in large numbers around interstates that have heavily wooded medians. They are very safe from hunters, but they cause a bloody mess when they decide to play in traffic. I do hunt and I do fish. I have a carbon mounted fish at home so the real 30 in. 8 lbs. shnook I caught in Florida is still alive. Depending on how good my family's shooting is for a given season, we rarely mount the ducks we hunt unless they are a new species or gender. The overwhelming majority we eat on Christmas day.

Hunters and fishermen have more reasons to be conservationists. Think about it. They want to continue hunting and fishing, so they will want to take care of the land their game is on and oppose poaching.

PETA is a wild group that needs to be put down.

I agree strongly with both Bird of OH and Lamp of AZ. I am tired and angry at myself for never haveing a reason to dislike PETA, except for the fact that they are crazy and should be shut down. This is one of the first websites I have visited in my research and it is a great one. Don't get me wrong beating animals or causeing them pain is not something I will every do but most people care and look after animals, and the animals are leading happier safer lifes because of our pet owners, farmers, ranchers and anyone who loves animals, respects them, and takes good care of them.

As long as people eat what they kill, use the whole animal (minus the bones & guts), and not just blatantly waste life for the sake of sport I see absolutly nothing wrong with hunting. Hunting is a very natural human instint. It is also nessessary for humans to consume meat. Meat comes from animals, so kill those cows pigs and chickens. Just be humane about it and use all of the meat.

Animals that attack humans should be shot on sight. if you feel threatened by an animal take it out.

Animal torture should not be tolerated and punishment should be severe. 5-10 year prison sentance and forfeiture of all possesions should suffice.

The hunting of wolves and other endangered animals should not be tolerated, however steps should be taken to protect ranchers assets.

Why is it that no one seems to be able to mind thier own buisness, I hunt I fish and I love a good steak on the grill. I dont smoke , but my names never been on a petition to ban smoking, I dont drink ,but who am I to tell someone else they cant,I dont agree with abortion but who am I to make this decision for anyone else. Let's face it people we live in a diverse country. you leave me and the things I like alone and I wont vote to take away your right to watch nascar because of the fuel emissions it emits into our atmosphere.

This list was compiled by the Center for Consumer Freedom, an industry front group for tobacco, alcohol, and agribusiness that was started with a $600,000 grant from tobacco giant Philip Morris. The group’s stock-in-trade involves taking aim at organizations that promote food safety, public health, or animal welfare.
