Len Downie Urges Bailout for News Media

Ex-Washington Post Editor Len Downie Jr. has joined with those urging a news bailout. His notion is to copy public radio's mix of gifts, tax dollars, and corporate contributions. "While I think too little of that money [National Public Radio takes in] goes to news now, some of it does, and I think there's a real potential there without in any way changing the relationship between the government and press," he says.

News reporters are probably like The small ISP providers (Internet service providers) They forced prices down then sold us out to big ISPS and prices started their way up again.

News Networks sold us out to big business, and therefore are no longer for the people and all news is biased “its just good business” I guess , Except. It will blow up in your face $$$$$$$$$ always does.
