It's Up to Obama on Healthcare

Pollster John Zogby regularly updates our ObamaMeter. Each week, Zogby uses his polling, expert analysis, and interaction with major players to come up with a rating of between 1 and 100. The ObamaMeter, however, is not simply a poll-generated job approval number. Instead, the Washington Whispers ObamaMeter is Zogby's judgment on the performance of the president based on multiple factors.

"Let's face it. The president is in the middle of a healthcare reform war that he really wanted to avoid. Now we know why he wanted a bill passed before the August recess, and certainly before 2010. On the surface, the battle is over healthcare, but in reality it's a continuation of the same old civil war. While the president certainly favors bipartisanship, he made mistakes by relying too heavily on a congressional leadership that is hardly seen and never acts in a bipartisan way. With his poll numbers bottoming out and ticking up again, he is still the most popular guy out there and knows better how to use every possible medium available than anyone else. He is, no doubt, a warrior."

This week: Steady at 78.

Last week's rating: 78

LIE to the citizens

CHEAT with manipulations

STEAL from our pockets

He was popular until he started showing the real him through policies and by plastering his face on tv so often you'd think you only had one channel. He needs to shut up, listen to the people and stop with the chicago policies (one-term presidency is basically wrapped in a package with a bow on it already).

Think back over these gruling months about some of the many corrupt things he has done. The PORK BILL was not to be passed until we had time to read it (meanwhile congress didn't have time or READ it). He APOLIGIZED around the world for the US. He PRETENED he knew nothing of the AIG bonuses (meanwhile the clause was snuck in by them). He's been shacking up big time with ACORN, that's a big scam. Firing the IG was against all rules but needed to be done to protect his pals. He lied about AARP. He lied about DEATH PANELS (after denying it they now claim they will work on removing it frm bill). The NASTY FLY OVER PHOTO-OP manover that scared everyone, IGNORING the presidential controversy in Iran until congress FORCED him to make a strong statement. DISSING our ally ISREAL. He had RELEGIOUS FIGURES covered up for one of his lame speeches. He appoints his friends as CZARS like there's no tomorrow. There are so many things you could rattle off if you just THINK ABOUT THESE PAST MONTHS. Anyone, never mind Bush, anyone would have been booted by now for so many different reasons. Just because this is an historical presidency doesn't mean we have to close our eyes to all of the laws this chicago thug community leader has been breaking. John Smith or Jane Doe would have been impeached by now.
