We don't need radical healthcare reform; what we need are caps on medications and medical procedures. If the AMA doesn't like it, that's too bad. All this nonsense going on now can be avoided by just putting caps on, so the people don't get ripped off by the pharmaceutical companies and the medical profession.

Then those of us who have slipped through the crack can be attended to without all this noise going on. The medical community and pharmaceutical community have been spoiled by being able to charge more and more. Other countries don't pay the medical profession or the drug companies what is paid out in this country. If the medical profession doesn't like to hear this, then they should leave this country and see how they make out in another country.

I have friends who live in Arizona who go over the border for medicine and medical procedures; this is sad and stupid. The funny thing about going over the Mexican border is that Americans are running the businesses for the most part.

The big problem with what Obama and the left envison is that if Government gets controll of yoiur healthcare, then they could also control every other aspect of your life. Your freedoms and decisions of personal choice will be dicated by some faceless politician or buerocrat who has absolutely no idsea of how you wish to live. Evcrything from what you eat, wether or not you choose to drink or smoke, the kind of car you drive, the type of shoes you wear, could concievably be mandated by government fiat under the guise of 'protecting" health care intests. Why don't we just all wear Cahirman Mao type bland jump suits, after all they are very utilitarian, are inecpensive, save the environment and protect against the flu.We qould all dress"equally and hold hands an sing "kumbyaw".

Perhaps we (Americans) should rethink the word costs; when we consider the over all welfare of our country/nation and its people. Is it too much to believe that our nations success depends on us all protecting the least among us?..All cost must raise we have one-hundred million more Americans than we did 20 years ago,and reduced global resourses..The less there is, in our system, more it costs per individual..This type of logic only benefits the persons who control the delivery sytems and those reduced resources. Let's not go there if at all possible...Costa Rica

If this medical plan goes through it will be a disaster for our country and the quality health care that we receive. Why should we pay for women who want abortions (Pro-life choice)? Abortions should only be performed when there is a threat to a mothers life, or in a rape. These people will take up hospital rooms and use doctors who will be very scarce at the cost of people who are sick and need care. Abortion is not a sickness nor is a health issue. Women need to stop having unsafe sex and there would be no need to kill innocent babies. There are so many women who cannot have children, they should put them up for adoption. We need our rights back.

What is the long term cost of no healthcare reform or cosmetic

changes ie of the type of rearanging the deck furniture on the sinking titanic? Seemingly, the cost of health insurance would continue to rise and with it's rise, more and more people would

pay more and more for less and less. Of course the president's

plan is a work in progress. Of course there is a cost, but the stated goal of insuring more people and attempting to introduce competition to the process of obtaining health insurance seems pretty tame for all the fuss to the contrary. The reform need not be political, we're all more alike, than different. Healthcare reform probably can't work if it's approached as each person's favorite special coffee drink or favorite sandwich. Healthcare, for all the glamour of new research/ new technology/ and new approaches; remains pretty basic given a patient's concern and a doctor's trying to be of help. It may be time to work together for the common good.

The far left radical's numbers are plunging and will continue because the decline is so steep. America woke up and we are taking our freedom and country BACK as he TRIED to take it FROM us but failed.

Soon he will lose control in front of the cameras as his greedy self emerges. He'll make history books alright. These will be the 4 lost years in American history, but we, as a nation, will steer us back. USA!
