The problem is at the end of Obama's term(31/2 years) we may not be AMERICA. The way he is going we will be like Russia. Unemployment so high but he has hired 35+ czars and for what they do not know one thing about what they are doing, but make $ 150,000 plus a year. He is creating jobs what a JOKE???????????????

The term rock star, seems appropriate for our president. Bill Clinton also had this appeal.Plays well for a lot of Americans that don't read, watch, or participate in current events.Style over substance. I have no problem with any race, gender, or religious affiliate working on repairing our country. As a retired disabled American Veteran, I fully support our Constitution and our Commander in Chief.I am concerned about a country rallying behind an inexperience president based on his popularity though. Bill Clinton "looked cool". However, his very naive, open ended foreign policies and inexperience eventually led to global terrorism being brought to our shores. Give us substance, A clear, decisive foreign policy. Secure borders. A strong military. Give us something to truly be proud of. This country deserves to feel safe, strong, and proud again. Save the saxaphones, sunglasses, and popularity votes for American Idol. And Hilary, Secretary of State?

I believe having a popular and likable President can help reduce the negative perception people have for americans. A lot of people appreciate the apologetic way of dealing things and trust me peolpe like to be treated more respectively. This goes a long way to deepen international relations between america and the rest of the world. I think Obama is a great guy and would make america a more attractive nation at the end of tenure in office.

Obomber is there not because of his qualifications, but because he recdeived 100% of the black vote and 50% from 'dogooders.'

As a president, not everyone will agree with your choices. As a person, not everyone will agree with your choices. That's almost immposible.Does everyone eat icecream much less love the same flavour? All over this wonderfull earth there are people..and you have some who follow the hype and some who don't.Sure we all want to see vast improvements with positive meaningfull solutions i agree..but i'm almost sure no one and i mean no one would prefer to bear the real burden of the tasks that lay ahead for the gunuine betterment of mankind. The improvement of mankind is paramont and this begins with man himself.A man who has a genuine passion with concerns globally who recognises that we're all mere human beings. What's this thing about i'm from here and you're from there? That sounds so immature and primitive in this day and age and there's no time for squabling. This should be a time for more loving, peace and understanding...life is so short.

I fail to understand why some people think it is important for the US President to be popular in Europe. Europeans have a great dislike for Americans and always have except when they want our help. As long as they have this hatred towards Americans it will never matter what they think of our President. Most Europeans are very jealous of our affluency, Health care and Democracy in general. When the liberals make us a socialist country and our taxes are in the 50% range as most countries in Europe they will probably like us and that is where Obama is taking us with our National debt. When I read Section 1234 item (4) in his health plan that the Secretary of Defense was going to over see mandatory enrollment of his new health plan, it scares me to death. I'm really scared to say very much about his health plan for fear that a couple of soldiers will show up at my door.

Specially, the people in islamic world and eastern socialist nations. The government bodies will be forced to respond positively to the calls of Obama.

Dear Lady of Lebanese ancestry in Arizona ,We did not only defeat totalitarianism during the 20th century ,we helped our former enemies through trade, immigration ,security etc.You or I can not rewrite history. We aren't superior ,never said or thought it ,but dang we are unique and as good & just a system as mankind has produced -warts & all..The main point was our enemies LOVE the fact we (you) elected someone so green & idealistic. At the same time our friends/competitors have demonstrated that they too will seize upon any opportunity to displace us.Such is life eh?
