Lets not forget that Obama has surrounded himself with Goldman Sachs Alumni. Obama is just as crooked as Bush/Cheney.

"Its simple. we have to pay for the gross overspending of the Bush and Cheney years. so lets get on with it and pay for the Iraq war for 8 years, the afghan war for 8 years and billions for pakistan and Israel and lets take care of our own people and give them good health care.

WE have to pay the piper now...but don't forget it was the republicans who were calling the tune for 8 years...don't blame Obama."

The only blame Mr. Obama must bear, imho, is the continuation of the Profitable Savagery that Mssrs. Rove, Cheney, Yoo, Gonzalez and Bush (with a lotta' help from Diebold/ESS and a certain Tennessee data-distortion op that was thwarted at the last moment during the 2008 Ohio elections) put us all into to begin with.

Of course, Mr. Reagan's shadowy sidekicks (his "Crazies", as he called 'em) sure set the stage well in advance of the Ninesey-'Levvensey Reichstag Demolition Job. Look up the facts on a proper timeline and see for yourself, Gentle Reader.

Fact: Back then, especially with No Internet Yet, anyone smart enuf to pattern the long-term consequenses of those early Executive Branch moves out of the print and broadcast media's occasionally odd-parsed and gap-riddled utterances was mortally liable for a lifetime diagnostic 'tagging' as "paranoid". But we really do know better, now, how THAT kind operates with their New Modern Pearl Harbors and all, don't we today?

Rality: The NeoCon cabal planned to execute the Money Power's dearest desire (rather obvious these days, if one has not crushed ones' own brains from shutting up and sitting down so often and so hard): the impoverishment and subsequent enslavement of all surviving Americans for every foreseeable contingrency and detail, just like PNAC'n thieves in the night. The which is exactly what they are, and WHO KNEW, HM?

Good MORNING! (Coffee? Chicory, we still got some... Sure, cream and sugar too if we have any left; we have been ROBBED!)

Personally, I think I would rather see the International Banking Power from the top down, Rothschilds and all, "pay the piper" when it comes to those abominable and bloody travesties to the genuine human nature and potential called "International Enterprise" and "Regime Change" by those who employ force to conquer the Universe and all Creation therein. Six hundred-odd years of being robbed blind of language, concept, knowledge and material substance by that fine outstanding red-shielded Money Power has produce such a docile, compliant herd of humanlike schmoozoid sheepses these days, has it not?

Last chance to CLAW IT BACK is NOW imho. The International Criminal Court is moving on this case too. Want Peace in this world? Then work and pray every night and day for J-U-S-T-I-C-E.

In the street-famous words of a Legendary Red Injun of Fictional Yore who was called "Stupid" by his whiteman uber-sidekick the Lone Ranger: "Who's this 'we', Kemo Sabe?"

Cap and trade is based on the faulty science of the IPCC models for man made global warming. The sun is burning hotter. Check out the video on the net "The Great Global Warming Swindle" with your full attention turned on. Understand another great conspiracy in a long line.

Cap and trade means that companies, namely coal burning power companies, will have to buy expensive credits as punishemnt for doing what they were built to do - burn coal for electricity, by forcing them to buy carbon tax credits from Uncle Sam. All other companies that do any type of manufacturing that involves emitting anything from a smoke stack will be targeted. Who knows, maybe there will be a place for all those home wood, coal and pellet stoves to punish consumers for burning less oil.

Recall, this was 1200 pages of new legislation our lawmakers were never allowed to read. Strange but true. Will this pass under the threat of martial law like the first financial bailout(theft) by the outgoing bush_mob ?? Watch September !!

I don't understand cap and trade, and I believe you have to be an engineer to understand it. I believe Robert Moen's solution makes more sense. We need more alternatives like natural gas, solar, wind, geothermal, even nuclear. However, in the case of nuclear, NIMBY gets in the way. I have a solution for this. I am a science fiction writer. The people in Nevada don't want their state to be a receptacle for their nuclesr waste. Shoot all the nuclear waste into outer space. and put the more than 100 nuclear facilities online. Better yet, continue working with Russia, China, Japan and other countries in developing nuclear fusion, and end nuclear, as well as biological and chemical weapons.

I'm a Democrat who thinks the House overplayed its hand when it passed cap-and-trade. Support for cap-and-trade is evaporating. Daily I read editorials, comments and letters-to-the-editor from all over the nation. Whereas when the House passed the bill it was maybe 2-to-1 against cap and trade, opinion now seems to be at least 6-to-1 against. The Senate will be wise to heed the overwhelming lack of public support and stop this disastrous legislation from passing into law.

If instead of cap-and-trade the United States had a national mandate to replace coal generation plants with natural gas and nuclear energy, plus if we replaced our commuter cars with battery-powered electric cars, we would drastically reduce our dependence on foreign oil and reduce CO2 emissions faster and beyond the proposed cap and trade targets.
