this man is a multi-millionaire and can afford his own security protection like the hated dick nixon did.He is on record as not caring one bit about what the american people thinks of him yet he has asked that these same taxpayers fund his protection. It is time for the american people to simple say to him, please go away and don"t hurt us anymore. Obama should man-up and suspend this protection.....a vast waste of taxpayers money.....where is the tea party on this issue?

Did you know that this coward disappeared for 4 months after 9/11? Did you know that he had 5 deferments during the Vietnam war? He had "other" issues. Rice also disappeared for 4 months. Cowards both! Bush ran away to Colorado, and then Kansas. It took him three days to get back to DC. Three days after 9/11 he was at a Republican fund raiser. Another miserable coward!

Cheney is a lying, murderous, thieving scumbag that only deserves the protection afforded by a 8' x 10' concrete cell with steel bars for a door.

According to NewsMax, not only is the former Vice President receiving protection, but it is being extended to his daughters as well. One of whom got an agent replaced at her father's request because he refused to drive her friend's to a party.

This disgusting hog has cost America far too much already; we are now supposed to protect him from the enemies he made while bilking our national coffers??

He is an evil glutton with no conscience or shred of patriotism...it's all about Dick.

Cheney can pay for his own protection with the phenomenal amounts of money he stole from US taxpayers via Haliburton!

Shame on you Obama!

It's the people who need protection from Cheney, a so-called wolf in a culture of government corruption.

He was part of the Bush Terror Presidency and its predatory American Gestapo. They dangled the fear of terror over critic’s heads every time a whimper of dissent emerged over attempts to beef executive power.

They believe that the Terror Presidency oan do anything it likes, even if Congress, even if the Supreme Court says it couldn't. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/cheney/

Counsel David Addington threatened mass terror attacks to silence the DoJ when it questioned the legality of Bush's no-warrant domestic surveillance program. “We’re one bomb away from getting rid of that obnoxious [FISA] court,” cursed Addington

President Obama appears to be a false prophet now in cahoots. He calls George W. Bush the 'good guy'.

With all due respect,

But, I do believe that the American People are paying for too much, have been for a long time and it's getting worse. I think Cheney should pay for his own security, he does have the money I am sure of it. The government needs to know that not all problems need not to be, (not solved by the people they do that whether we want them to or not), paid for by the people. Sometimes gov't and big corps should flip the bill themselves. And shame on us for allowing them to get away with soooo much and for sooo long! JUST SAY NO!!!

What a mess I also found a very interesting blog that sums this whole mess up.
