Never see much written in support of this great American, but I'd like to counter the negative views I've read here. There are plenty of us who are thankful for his guidance and leadership during times of unprecedented uncertainty about the security of our country. His choices and decisions were never made on the basis of popularity or political expediency, but rather on principles and actions that would maintain the safety and security of our children and his grandchildren.

Paul, why are you even writing about this? A lot of us, including Republicans as well, have had enough of both Cheney and his daughter. Those two live in a parallel universe. Please quit stirring the pot. Write about people whose ideas have some merit and are hopeful/helpful, please!

People give george too much credit; he clearly licensed dickie boy to generate policy (else why would he hide for years to secretly make up administration justifications for war and torture?) Cheney thought he was president and had to protect himself while George bumbled through scripted justifications.

Dick Cheney and his daughter are both losers!! I cannot imagine anyone who would be interested in purchasing his book of political memories (aka: lies) except the harpies at Fox (Faux)News or perhaps Ann Coulter or Rush Limbaugh.

Personally, I would like to see Mr. Cheney and Mr. G.W. Bush go to prison for the crimes they have committed. They can talk all they want but no one is listening. To describe her father as a "great American" is ridiculous to say the least. He is anything but a great American....he is a coward and a criminal.

Why in God's name would anyone believe one word that comes out of this monster's mouth is beyond me. Imagine the nerve of this poor excuse of a human being trying to explain his version of why he thinks death and destruction is ok. I compare it to if Hitler survived and wrote a book. Cheney and his spawn have no shame.

I will have no need for his book because I still have six rolls of Newt's left.

It's going to be fairy tales. I hope it comes with crayons so it can be included in the George W. Bush presidential library and miniature golf couse at SMU.

I can't wait to see what Daddy and his baby girl have concocted to teach us all what a patriot he is. Of course it will have to be in excerpts reprinted somewhere, as I would never contribute a dime towards further enriching this truly evil family.

Cheney's pathetic attempt to clean up his legacy will continue to fall on deaf ears, He will rightfully be remembered as the money-grubbing,war-mongering,coward that he is...

After all the things he helped to do in shaming this nation, in my opinion he should be writing this book from a Federal Prison. Too bad Gitmo is going to be closed...........he deserves that at the least.
