Poll: Americans Say No to New Healthcare Taxes

This legislation makes me laugh, and as a hard working American, it's clear to see that a whopping majority of Americans don't want this bill. America is built on a choice, and right now it's pretty apparent that folks want that right, that privilege, and liberty on which this country was founded upon. This is a "quick fix", and last time I checked, speed kills, especially in this instance. Socialism here we come, if it comes. I truly pray that it doesn't, I really do. Competition harnesses success, it has ever since we've brought this country into fruition. Large conglomerate companies, and corporations will be hit with this big time, as well as doctors. Physicians, and doctors across a wide spectrum will be paying a butt load just to stay in business, or better yet out of business. Guess who it eventually effects in the long run? The tax payer, YOU! EVERYONE! The wise choice is to slowly develop a reform that we ALL can agree with, not in one full swoop! Being the son of a physician, I directly see the hurt that it will place on the American citizen. I can "guarantee" you, that if this bill does pull through, millions of Americans will either immediately or inadvertently feel the financial hurt, along with the rest of the healthcare industry. If we want this country to become Canada or France, let's keep it up! On second thought, let's not keep it up, drop the bill and start with a wise frame of mind. The American people aren't stupid, they are well informed, and to have someone else make that choice for you is ridiculous and quite frankly insults me and many, many of my friends, and colleagues.

We need health care reform, but not the kind that our current government is trying to get passed this week. It doesn't make any since to me what they are trying to do and I had no idea that the senator's, etc. were so currupt that there votes could be bought for a song and a dance. Our contry wasn't founded on these principles. Our four fathers are turning over in there graves as I speek. I hope that these people wake up and spell the roses and see what the government is really trying to do. They want to turn our country into a socialist country. This is were the government tells you what to do, when to do it, and how to do it, etc. If you claim to be a christian, please get on your knees and pray to God, that this health care doesn't pass because it will be the end of Americia as we know it.

Why dont they come up with a plan that requires insurance companies to

have a separate program for the people who do not have health care.

they can put them in a pool and save money that way it will be

by choice and everyone can keep their current insurance.

When I worked contract I had to get my own insurance.

Sure it was an expense but I did it and I was by no

means rich. You just have to budget for it.

Wake up America and Say NO to the Govt running

our lives... this is so CRAZY !!!!

okay here is another idea ... what ever

the Govt comes up with as health care for our

country they have to be included in the same program!

Including Congress President...everyone!!!

That would insure they were doing the right thing for

our country right???
