Greta Van Susteren got a nice little pat on the back from Fox News Channel colleague Bill O'Reilly on his show recently. He dubbed Van Susteren a "patriot" for the help she gave to Air America Radio host Ana Marie Cox aboard an Amtrak train when Cox suffered an allergic reaction to the food she was eating, an item first reported by Whispers. "Ironically, Miss Cox, a far-left person, now may owe her life to the Fox News Channel," O'Reilly says.

I disagree with Doctor what's her name. If Coulter had been the one experiencing a shortness of breath due to an allergic reaction, I doubt if Ana Marie Cox would have helped her. As for Paul, that's your story, if true. Typical Liberal arrogance and condescension.

Highly doubtful Ann Coulter would have done the same!

Taking credit for "saving Ana-Marie Cox's life is totally silly, I mean, all it took was a couple of Benedryl, for God's sake. Next he'll be taking life-saving credit for not sucking all the oxygen out of a room somebody's in, because he could have done that. Ana-Marie is alive and well because other folks have chosen to share air and Benedryl (or generic equivalent diphenhydramine) with her. I would share just about anything it took to keep her going, and I'm saying this as my organ transplant card is coming up for renewal.

I met her personally, on one brief trip to Washington DC and upon finding that she wass short of breath due to a food allergy, I did the same, i.e., gave her two standard Benedryl,tm. So I guess I could make the same claim as Bill O'R; or Fox News anchor lady who actually helped her out. But I wouldn't. I think the conservatives are just envious of her saucy looks and very snappy humor, which comes from her pulling no punches; i.e., having few secrets, being honest, living large. Frankly, Ana's the most awesome journalist I've met, and for an Iowa country boy, I met me a few.
