An epic political battle over President Obama's expected pick for the Supreme Court might not happen, we hear. The reason: Though he was chosen by a Republican, retiring Justice David Souter voted like a Democrat, so the GOP doesn't see the partisan divide on the court changing. The big fight will come when a conservative judge leaves. "This is a freebie," says a GOP aide. "The full fight for the court hasn't happened yet," he adds.

First of all, "Nicholas Filipinni" of TX, it was not the Republicans who got us in anything. We are not in a mess, the only people that are hurting are the liberals who invested in bad real estate deals and those that have credit card debt because they can't control themselves from saying no to the things they don't need. Do you remember September 11, 2001???? Let me remind you, for it is obvious you have no clue: America was attacked, the Republicans have been cleaning up the mess left by 8 years of the Clinton era ever since. Republicans stand for morals and values. They stand for principles that foster family and the promise of a FREE future. President Bush defended this country and it's people for his entire Presidency. If Clinton would have done that, we would never be in this "mess". You talk about lies......Monica Lewinsky, Paula Jones...need I say more? "Pack of lies"...let me know when you figure out the last President who was impeached.....hummmm. You Democrats have such short memories.

The election didn't need you vote. The Democratic machine would have gotten Ross Perot elected if that is who they wanted on the other end of the puppet strings. Now the Commander in Chief has just made a mockery of Notre Dame. If I were a student there, I would never admit it after this week-end. I mean, look at the money Oprah contributed, and all the free advertisment President-elect Obama received from his liberal friends. If I had that money, I would be Commander in Chief and I would still be cleaning up "messes" from 1992-2000. Let's not even talk about what Clinton did for China with exports.....now China is a major threat...way to go Bill. Democrats are a joke. With the next 4 years down the drain, America's Welfare spending will probably triple, Food stamp spending will probably double, and the budget for keeping us safe will be slashed. Democrats couldn't care less about Americans. All Democrats want to do is control the Government so more innocent babies can be killed by abortion, gays can "marry" each other and the Commander in Chief can invite idiots to the White House and make inappropriate jokes. Something I would expect in a federal prison, not the establishment founded by our fathers. Great example Democrats....great example...what is next, a visit to BYU about Anarchy...? I don't hold anything past the Dems anymore.

The American people by desired want to trust the people they electe and that is what happened under the Bush administration. What they got instead was a pack of lies and this is being said by a Republican. We did not practice conservatism as we should have but instead played games with our country's money and its people and its security. We were lied to and now we have this mess. We have Obama because we failed in our moral and conservative principals. So fellas out there, you Republicans created the mess and now we are living in it.Even I voted for him berlieving our Republican stupity did not deserve my vote. We are killing this country and the Republican Party has much to blame for it.

The GOP needs to demonstrate political leadership & get some courage to fight for conservative principles.

Let's do this for the future of our next generation!
