He's a former MSNBC host. She's a current MSNBC cohost of the popular program Morning Joe. So they both know a thing or two about journalism. And when Tucker Carlson criticized fellow TV reporters for being in the tank for Obama at a panel discussion at American University last night, Mika Brzezinski took him to task. "As far as [the media's] treatment of McCain, I'll say this," Carlson began. "On election night, there were a number of employees of news networks, NBC and others, who wept with joy when Obama was elected, which itself is a remarkable fact. Here's the more remarkable fact—they weren't scolded for it." When it was Brzezinski's turn, she was ready to pounce: "Tucker, I have a question: I'm sorry, do you think reporters you saw weeping were biased?" "I think they are lacking self-control," Carlson responded. "But that's different than biased," Brzezinski argued. The two quarreled a bit longer. "There has always been this pretense that a certain element of the news business pretends to be objective," Carlson pointed out. And Brzezinski put it simply: "Well, they need to stop it."

Mika has "Daddy" issues. Dr Brezinski said in a Morning Joe segment Hillary Clinton's political experience consisted of tea parties.

when Hill was appointed SOS, Mika remarked, "her experience is largely ceremonial"

Good grief. That is just one example. Why do they keep her?

Because of her Paris Hilton moment?

Morning Joe is hardly at the top of the ratings heap. I will watch if she is taking the day off!

MSNBC's ratings are actually growing and increasing while CNN and FOX News are losing viewers or just holding on.....MSNBC is gaining in the morning, late afternoon and prime time.....O'Relly continues to be a ratings giant but L.King's show is worthless - Maddow's is fun to watch because she's so entertaining and has great spin to the news. I agree Mika doesn't add a lot to Morning Joe....except to get her father air time. But outside of CSPAN there's nothing else on early in the morning... But- In closing - generally speaking, no one is more of a hack than Tucker Carlson. He never, ever has anything to say that's worth listening to.............

Mika is probably one of the most liberal, ill informed people on TV. No wonder msnbc's ratings are in the tank. Anyone who doesn't think the media is in the tank for b. hussein obama needs some serious reality counseling. The slobbering, fawning coverage of this incompetent is sickening.
