Entry for the "Might Be a Self-Serving Comment Award":

"The kind of campaign you run doesn't have much to do with the type of president you'd be."

James Carville

IcePilot of WA 6:56PM May 09, 2012

But who will govern?

In addition to his 40 yr prediction going the way of the Democrat's fortunes, it's a joke that Carville has the nervie to criticize O'Reilly or anyone else for being "remarkably nasty"......His partner-in-crime Paul Begala has insulted President Bush in every way possible...Carville and especially Begala, don't know the definition of grace and class.....And now their book shows they don't know a whole lot about the political scene, either.

So the kind of campaign you run doesn't indicate the kind of president you'll be, huh? So much for "Change". So much for post-racism. So much for bipartisanship. So much for "purple" states. So much for transparency. So much for Obama.

It appears Carville is going to be off the mark by a mere 38.5 years.

Has the left ever heard of counting your chickens before they hatch?

At the rate the Dems are creating new ways to tax the american people. The well will run dry long before that.

Carville is certainly correct. The Democrat party will dominate the next 40 years if the republicans do not change some of their ideals.

The times have changed and people are adopting more liberal views throughout the world, not only in America. For the Republicans to have a good chance at winning one of the next 4 elections they must commit themselves to more liberal ideas and not put out candidates like Sarah Palin who only attract the gun nuts of your society. The "ticket voting" system has gone in america. Citizens are becoming more politically aware, even more so in the current economic climate. It is clear that elections will continue in Democrat favour as they are party for the majority of the people. House elections will return more democrats in the next few years as MOST Americans are waking up to the fact they need help.

Welfare and Healthcare are the next big issues, and these must be tackled responsibly. It is apparent that the Republican party are not capable at tackling such issues.

The demographic change in America is also affecting the republican chances. The ever growing Latino population will vote Democrat because they are the party who promote fair ideas, fair policies, they will help the individual and reduce the abundant poverty apparent in America. The republicans must tap into this source of votes if they are to achieve Presidency, or even control of one of the houses.

Capitol Hill is now a beacon of light under the Obama administration. Other world leaders would do well to learn from this President.

So Carville thinks the dems will have power for 40 years. Arrogant, although predictable statement from an obnoxious hack The repubs have been in this position before...history repeats itself and I predict Mr. Carville will eat his words...as early as 2010.

if the dems get their way with the census, they probably will be in power for 40 years. by the way everyone, did you know that the obama administration is having everybody's door marked with gps coodinates within 40 ft of their house? if we don't get these bad guys out of the white house and congress, we may be goostepping our way through life. why would they need to gps everybody's door?
