George Bush's Most Controversial Decisions

April 24, 2009 RSS Feed Print

By Paul Bedard, Washington Whispers

As George W. Bush continues to pen the book on his presidency, friends say that his goal is to focus on 10 to 12 of his most controversial decisions and provide the background that will prove he was right at the time. "As he researches and reviews meeting notes, he plans to provide the context of what was happening when he was deciding," says a friend. Take the deficit as an example. Yes, he expanded it. But the prez wants to explain that 9/11 and the wars that followed required it and that he wasn't on some drunken spending binge. The book is due out in the fall of 2010.

You go! Let's take care of the world...who cares if we get attached anyways? I don't need to be safe! Let them come in and attack all our major US cities, right? Feeding people in Africa is more important than safety and security and peace of mind.

Balance is the key here. We need to be safe first, then we can help others. We have gotten so far off track in this country from the original values and freedoms that founded this wonderful nation, such as hard work and Christain values. When approximately 50% of the country aren't paying ANY taxes and the other 50% are expected to supported them, there is something wrong! Is it possible that 50% of our country is so mentally/physically/emotionally handicapped in some way so as to warrant them not being able to take of themselves??? I can't believe it!

This county has become soft, catering to anything and anyone that is outside the "norm". If they have a belief that contraray to the traditional values that this country was founded on, then the liberal politicains and media automatically agree with it. This is how we got where we are today! And the current administration is only feeding the frenzie. There is an alterior motive in this administration and it the the governmental control of our money and lives. WAKE UP!!

Right now we are experiencing another 4 years of an extended Jimma Carta admin. What a mess.

Bush absolutely wrecked the economy with his "free market" B.S., which focused on taking care of business while ignoring citizens. More dishonest and criminal than Nixon.
