Harry Reid Pushes For Anti-Polygamy Task Force

He's a Mormon convert and a Nevada lawyer, so nobody has to tell Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid that polygamy is illegal. But having multiple spouses continues, especially in splinter Mormon groups, and now he's planning to make it a federal case. Reid says he will push the attorney general to create a task force to stamp out the practice. The Department of Justice is expected to agree. "We have an obligation to help these women and children who are being victimized," Reid says.

Bad for everyone. Young men who get kicked out of communities simply because there aren't enough females to own, girls who are raised to be raped and abused, women who don't even understand that it's wrong!

Taxpayers are stuck paying these communes/covens of illicit activities. These people claim to be self-sufficient; yet demand and use many benefits meant for law-biding citizens.

Two wives is the felony of bigamy. More wives is the same felony with more breeder females involved. I say it's domestic prostitution with one man being the Number One John. Inbreeding is known to increase genetic disease, so it's a public health issue. It must concern everyone. Before the Church banned it, polygamy enriched the church as unpaid wives and kids did work that created anything usable or sold. Their slave-driver was dear old dad. With his fly open and ready to go at any time, he was personally responsible for creating many pitiable but needy tax leeches.
