Today March 18, 2010 - The State of WA and the FBI has to make a decision. In 1998 they told a woman she had to put her husband on the plane - even though she offered up all she had - it was not enough. The faulty DNA collect by the FBI in 1971 did not follow the guidelines - but they dismissed her husband based on this erroneous DNA sampling that had been contaminated.

Flyers recently sent to the State of WA depicted 2 items never before present to the public. Did she put her husband on that flight with those items? IF so why did the FBI not acknowledge this in 1997 - when she told them about the items.

Good afternoon.

Enough, already! The mystery is no longer a mystery.

Please, please, please, will someone take a look at a book called "Alive, Alaska"?

Briefly, the book is a comical look at the story (fictional? Not so, I say) of a young African-American named Roland David Hunter. The man was hard-work, determined, the true definition of a "law-abiding citizen"....yet, he was lonely beyond lonely, sad, depressed and suicidal.

He was close to taking his own life when God intervened.

Roland saved the life of a man that "rewarded" him with an all-expenses paid vacation to a very remote area of Alaska.

This had long been a dream of Roland's and it picked his spirits up, to put it mildly.

The story, however, is about what Roland discovered while on his fishing trip.

Roland had everything at his disposal, including transportation to explore the many lakes and streams in Alaska. Well, one morning he took a wrong turn, happily riding along until he came to the end of a road. The road was blocked by a long, long, fence.

Roland's curiosity was peaked, as there was no reason for a fence to be there in the first place.

Bravely, he got out and walked the length of the fence, praying that he didn't run into any bears.

What he came across was a slew of beautiful mansions on this enclosed property, exclusive and very secluded from prying eyes.

There were (are) some very interesting people living in this area.

But, the owner of this wide expanse had been there since the early seventies. He bought the property dirt cheap, paid cash for it, had two homes built for himself, fenced the place in, then opened it up to others just as reclusive as himself.

The people that moved in are all stories by themself.

But the name of the owner of that area, aptly named "Alive, Alaska"?

Mr. D.B. Cooper.

That's right. Mr. D.B. Cooper.

That was in the mid to late nineties. Is he still alive? No telling. You'd have to ask a very happy Roland David Hunter, who moved up to "Alive, Alaska" at the request of the residents.

You see, these are some very famous people who "should" be dead. They've "died" young or suspiciously, then somehow relocated to "Alive, Alaska".

Roland discovered this little secret and he knew that he'd found the goldmine of all stories.

But, that's why you need to read the book

Please go to mountainmistproductions.com, or Google the book, "Alive, Alaska".

Trust me, it's not just another fantasy.

Thank you.

It will soon be 38 yrs since Cooper made his jump on November 24, 1971. How much more co-incidental information does the wife of Suspect Duane L. Weber have to drop at the feet of the FBI before they seriously examine the background of Weber?

She has provided to them a witness - they did not bother to interview until 7 yrs later when he walked into the Portland FBI office - but, were aware of him since 2001.

Ms Weber has provide leads to a period of Weber's life the FBI never investigated. Weber had strong ties to CA. and the Camino CPS Camps in and around Placerville, but the FBI refused to even give it a cursory look - she has placed this at their feet for over 10 yrs now insistent of his ranger training. Since Weber used many alias unknown to his wife - she recently requested the FBI to provide her with names of suspects that were called into the FBI around 1971- 1973. They declined to do so.

This woman has be persistent and dogmatic in her search - but, recently someone associated with one of our great Universities in this Country - and another person in the CA area have joined the chase and now even MORE co-incidents are POPPING up - things the FBI did not look for. The FBI has refused to make the files available except to a priveleged few - and only one of the individuals was associated with a suspect.

It stands to reason the researcher or family members of a suspect will spot a clue if it is in that file. There are non-FBI individuals out there who have done research on Cooper and have far more knowledge of this "Sad man" or "joker" than the turn-over of the agents in this 38 yrs period.

What if the name of a suspect was provide early on in the investigation - but, it was a alias of a suspect unknown to the FBI or anyone else? When the FBI checked on the name - the indiviudal may have been dead, he may have had an alibi, he may not have resembled Cooper, the identiy may have been used 25 yrs or more before the crime. This may have been one of the Most Famous of all Identity Thefts, because Maybe the Only Unsolved Skyjacking has gone Unsolve, because the FBI never conceived the idea of Identiy Theft occuring 25 yrs before the crime itself?

The Stewardess said that when the money was delivered to the plane the Cooper became child-like offering one of them money which was turned down. The suspect Duane Weber had this same child-like reaction to things with a mischievous grin that was unforgettable. I wonder if either Stewardesa - Tina Mucklow or Florence Shaffner remember that mischievous grin - or did the remember his throwing his lip down on one side with a pout like expression to show he meant business.

The artist who did the composites tried unsuccessfully to capture the motion, but was never able to bring it across. The redo's of the original 1971 composite look nothing like the 1st composite. The composites that never made it to the Wanted List - did show this action relative well - but the FBI chose for 37 yrs to use the old Bing Crosby composite none of the witnesses accepted.

WHY? When the witnesses sat down with the artist they were more relaxed than during their initial questioning by the FBI and had started to collect their thought...one would think the later composites to be more accurate.

Until 1996 things had been relative quiet on the D.B.Cooper case until a woman contacted the FBI about a deathbed confession. This was Duane L. Weber aka John C. Collins. Since the story was made public - several more suspects where presented. Ms Weber has continued her search for 14 yrs. and does so dogmatically with 16 feet of research and recorded contacts.

Gossett - a suspect produced by Galen Cook who had been searching for Cooper and had considered several suspects until Gossett caught his attention. Mr Cook is an Attorney in WA and is currently writing a book about his subject.

Christainsen - a Northwest employee. N.Y. Magazine writer Geoffrey Gray was contacted by this man's brother. There was no evidence or a confessions to indicate this man might be Cooper. Gray is also currently writing a book about Cooper, but it is not confined to a specific subject. This book as I understand it will explore the crime itself and several suspects...unlike the other "wannabe books" in the last 37 yrs. I think Cooper chasers will find his book entertaining and informative.

Other suspects and books in the mill, but these 3 are the most prominent suspects in recent yrs. The media attention to Duane L. Weber created a renewed interest in solving this almost 38 yr old crime. Cooper seems to baffle even the most advanced of technology...new testing was done on the money found in 1980, DNA and fingerprints. The DNA from a tie (which the FBI cannot prove belonged to Cooper) was compromised because in 1971 the handling of this tie did not include DNA collection procedures.

Agent Larry Carr's connecting the Dan Cooper Comic books was suggested by someone else (this was not his conception) and other than being Comical has NO connection to the 1971 Skyjacking of a Boeing 727. It is riduculous the FBI would make this part of the official FBI site. Doesn't the FBI realize there is so much erroneous information surrounding this crime and what they put on their site becomes FACT in the minds of young people with little knowledge of this crime.

Regarding the suspect: Duane L. Weber aka John C. Collins, aka Dwayne Webber and many other alias there is a lot of circumstancial evidence, but the co-incidences have continue to mount over the yrs. The FBI's panned answer to Weber is that he was investigated and ruled out - indicating a letter dated 1998 to his widow. Yet, in a coversation dated March of 2000 with the agent of record - she was told that Weber had never been in McNeil nor the Army. She was holding legal government documentation in her hands during that conversation - and it was only in that moment she knew the FBI had not truely investigated her husband. It was not until after this conversation she decided to take her plight public,

Yes, after that date in 2000 the FBI did do more to investigate the background of Weber and they shared little of this with the widow. She and others on her behalf continued to dig and to contact the FBI about new things. Most of the contacts proved to be folly, but one kept hanging on. In 2001 she was contacted by a man who had been a night clerk at a hotel near the PDX in Portland in 1971. After notifying the FBI of his contact information - she waited - for the FBI to contact this man and he waited.

In 2008 this man had NOT been investigated nor contacted...and it was not because the FBI didn't have his contact information.

He had been out of the country for about 5 yrs and had reason to return to the states for an extend period of time. On this trip he WALKED into the Portland FBI office with a notarized statement and not one word of this was mentioned by the FBI.

After waiting for a period of time Ms Weber confronted the FBI regarding WHY this man had not been contacted when they had the information available to them for 7 yrs. The FBI finally made a couple of calls to the night clerk, but no physical interview. The widow of Duane Weber kept requesting the FBI to check the registration list the FBI had taken from the clerk in 1971 In summary the FBI claimed there were no hotel registrations in their files.

A video arranged (by a personal contact - not FBI) of this person's statement was done in 2008. After 7 yrs of exposure to the media on Weber, some of his information may be tainted by this exposure and therefore may not be as convincing as it was in 2001. He first contacted her because of a picture of Weber aka Collins and the composite of D.B.Cooper in The Oregonian. The aka of John Collins - was a name the clerk provide the FBI in 1971.

The FBI doesn't have any dogs with which to hunt. Coop got away clean and has been fooling those weenie agents for decades. It's a joke that the FBI thinks they can still solve this case. Cooper is long gone and so is the money.
