I'm starting to think the previous comment "Wake up America" was written by John "McCAin" of AZ.
Your facts about what Obama said were innacurate and misleading.
It's because of people like you that the saying "the blind leading the blind" was invented.
First, you mentioned that Democrats were in charge of Congress the past 4 years.
WRONG
They took over majority rule 2 years ago.
Since that time, they pushed through more legislation to protect and assist the average American than the previous "REPUBLICAN" lead Congress did in the 6 YEARS B4!!!!
Oh by the way, Obama said he'd phase out troops from IRAQ within 16 months NOT 12. I'd school you politically illiterate fools some more but would need 15000 more characters.
To put it BLUNTLY, Obama has done more for this country in his first 8 WEEKS then Bush did in all his 8 YEARS!!!
Only someone who's head has been stuck up their a** for the past 8 years, would even try to criticize a President who only has about 10 weeks in office!!!
It took 8 years for Bush to undo the progress we made under President Clinton. So you better hush up and give the new President the just amount of time to clean up all the manure left from the REPUBLICAN BUSH ADMINISTRATION.

This ad is another of the political hype associated with the Obama machine. It says that the Bush administration is responsible for the financial crisis. What it doesn't tell you is that for the last 4 years of the Bush Presidency, the Democrats were in control of the country. For years now the best kept secret in America is that Congress makes the laws, but lets the public think the Presidency is responsible. An excellent case in point is the bail out. The Democratic Congress not only passed a bill full of loop holes that let these companies pay out "Millions" of our tax dollars to the CEO's and staff for bonuses, they also put in "Billions" of our future tax dollars in useless "PORK." So I ask you, "who's really responsible for our ecomonic problems?
Now, on to Obama. He promised that the troops would be home within the first year of his service. That is not going to happen as he has already stated. He promised that no bail out money would go for bonuses, not that, as we all know, happened anyway. He said that he was confident that he could turn the economy around in 6 months, and then immediately after the election said that it was going to take time. Like all politicians, he told the American public what it wanted to hear, and they bought it. When will America learn that "These People Lie" to get elected?
President Obama has consistently said that all Americans are going to have to tighten their belts and make sacrifices. I say sacrifices start at the top. If he would show that he is willing to make sacrifices, then maybe Americans would too. He should start with Air Force One and it's backup. We don't need them. We could save literally hundreds of millions of dollars or more over the course of his Presidency if we got rid of them and replaced them with small Lear Jets. We don't need to be paying for the press to follow him around to every stop. Let them pay for themselves. They can, and they would if they want the story. Even the Queen of England gave up her large money eating jumbo jets years ago to save money. Why shouldn't we?
As for the Congress, I suggest that everyone write to their elected Senators and Representatives, and tell them in very strong language, that we aren't going to let this fleecing of America go on. A case in point are the junkets overseas where we pay for them and their wives to shop. At our expense. We only hear about these trips occasionally, but they happen all the time, and we're paying for them.
In closing, Americans need to wake up! These politicians are going to keep hoodwinking you until you make them stop. So get busy and make them stop. Not tomorrow, not next week, and not next year. Make them hear you, and make them do it now!!

The Blueprint Ad that is being shown over and over in North Carolina turns my stomach! Seems as if Obama can't just do the job he was elected for; he seems to love the limelight way too much! This is the ad of a rabble rouser; not the President of the United States. And he does approve it or it wouldn't be aired. How could the majority of the people of this nation be so duped by his hype? Obama credits Bush with ruining us financially; well, he is going to bury us and toss in the shovel, too. What a joke!! Four years is much too long for this clown; can we survive him?

Perhaps if there was a modicum of truth to the caterwauling that comes from the Obama administration under the guise of populist unrest, the debate about what is right and wrong in this country could begin in earnest. If the media would report the truth instead of ignoring it, the people might begin to lend them credibility once again.
Members of Government workers unions, service employee unions, and groups like Acorn, all of whom have a vested financial interest in achieving the results that will enrich them at the expense of others have been instrumental in organizing and carrying out most if not all of the protests. The Obama administration continues to rely on the community activist tactics to disrupt the public and deliver a message that is at once dishonest and overtly corrupt. It is small wonder that with each succeeding election cycle the people are driven farther and farther apart politically. Yet in the end it all really centers around the action of 535 people in the capital building and the Chicago mob boss who holds the reign of power for the moment.
Real Americas will need to find their voices and speak out over the din of these special interest groups. Until the corrupt are shown up for what they are, nothing will change. The problem is that those charged with outing the corrupt, the media, are perhaps more corrupt than anyone else.

There has been a class war going on since the 70's only the Middle Class has not been aware of it. In the 60's the Middle Class grew and the Upper Class shrunk. Beginning in the 70's the Upper Class started to fight back and have largely succeeded in beating down the Middle Class and puting them in their place. This attitude of intitlement and greed and gross selfishness is foreign to much of the Middle Class. The idea of working together for the common good is something the Upper Class looks upon as stupid. So, while the Middle Class generally wants to see everyone succeed the Upper Class wants to destroy the Middle Class and had the good old days of only two classes, Them and the rest of us. We need to support the efforts against these people or there will be no Middle Class left.
The Republican Party does not want to tax the wealthy, who receive far more benifits from the government than the middle class or poor, because they 'create jobs'. This is a bogus argument. The wealthy spend money on extravent and non productive things that create only subservant jobs at best. Expensive mansions, cars, boats, etc. do not help the economy.
I am not suprised that the President is being attacked so viciously. I would rather try to take a bone from a hungry dog than a dollar from a millionaire!
This President needs our support!

lack of faith in government is due to the fact that Bush totally decimated the idea that government can work for the people. If you can't see that there are innocent people who are getting a raw deal due to no fault of their own, I think you are blind. Far worst, you are cynical and jaded to human suffering. During each year of the Bush administration the poverty rate for children increased. The living poor isn't the sacker in the BMW, it's children, women, and the elderly, especially in rough times. Is there no moral or ethical obligation to ease that suffering? Do you believe in your own agency as a human being so much that you can't see that there are times when bad luck just kicks you in the ass no matter how hard you work, or how much you try? Or perhaps you are lucky enough to not have that happen to you yet?
Government can set the conditions to help people make positive decisions that can affect all of us. If government can make it easier for a person to get healthcare and be a productive citizen, isn't it in all our best interest to do that? Same thing goes for education and a job. Isn't it in our best interest to have productive educated citizens that can contribute to their community instead of leaching off of it? Larry just seems to be hung up on touting his own superiority over everyone else. Oh yes Larry, why did you stay in school and do all the things you do in your life? Is it just so you could be rewarded financially? Or is it for the higher purposes of enlightenment, service to country, personal satisfaction and fulfillment? Or was it just to say that you are better than the rest of us? Grow up!

Spending Trillions of US taxpayers dollars is not going to help this economy.
The irresponsible spending by Congress and the America people caused this problem and now you believe the only way out is to spend 2 - 3 times as much money.
It's time to talk straight to the American people and tell them that they are responsible for their lives. It is not the governments responsibility to make sure everyone has a job, an education, or health care.
I work my azz off 10 - 12 hours a day while I watch unemployed people driving BMW's and taking vacations and I wonder what I am doing. Who's the sucker, I am beginning to think it's me.
Stayed in school, joined the military, worked hard and stayed current in my industry for what? To pay for every lazy slug in America? I don't think so.
Who is funding this group, some hedge fund manager?
