They are all a bunch of liars and cheats, and we need to get them out of office, including the man who is in charge of this country. I can't even call him President, because he's playing a role in a reality show, and unfortunately, the reality is he's screwing up every taxpaying, hardworking Americans life. Him and his cronies need to go. Including Nancy Pelosi! But please....we don't need her back here in California. We need to find an island to put them all on, then they'd start feeding off of each other...literally.

Barney Frank is hard working and as straight and arrow as they come. Ideologues will take their issue with him on some website but were they to meet him face to face he would shred their weak, misinformed and baseless statements for what they are...

I am not sure why Frank (or Dodd) is still in power. Oh yes, he gets elected. The man should be in jail. Many of the congress should be. They push their own agenda, whether it is power or money, they get what they want. It doesn't matter to them any more that America is AMERICA! That one place in the world where people are free. Where honest work meant honest pay. Our own government (the one made of THE PEOPLE) has become filled with criminals. I think Frank knew Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac were doing bad and still accepted kickbacks, lying to the very people they were supposed to be working for: AMERICANS! Don't get me wrong, I still have issues with the Republican "borrow-and-spend" plans, but I am seeing the Democrats "tax-and-spend" agendas are not going to work.
Wasn't Obama supposed to clean house? Instead he continues to campaign. Frank should have been ousted. Anyone with a link to the lies and cover-ups of Freddie and Fannie should have been ousted. Instead they are the ones that are supposedly "fixing" the economy.
As Americans (RayS of WA and others) we need to stop trying to see everything as Republican and Democrat. Bigger government takes away from the very foundation of the Constitution. You know, that document that MAKES US AMERICANS and not subjects of a foreign sovereignty. I hope that there are some congressmen in office that aren't corrupted with their own self-interests, but I don't see them anymore.

Barney Franks, Greg Meeks, Maxine Waters and other democrats RIDICULED the regulators and the republicans for suggesting tightening Fannie Max and Freddie Mac lending standards.

Just imagine -- the Big Banker Legislator in the Sky backing the highest profile tax cheat -- Tim Geithner, who happens to be the Secretary of Treasury!! Imagine a poster of the two of them! QUESTION TO HOLDERS OF IRAs and 401ks "DID YOU HAVE MORE BEFORE THESE TWO PAIRED?"
I am no longer sure of what the democrats are thinking!
