people who use it for pain is a whole other story but when you start using it when you dont need it there a very big issues that fall under that such as the side effects being deadly. when you smoke pot it causes your body to want to eat obesity is already huge in America!!!!

smoking weed isnt a big deal. i smoke everyday for pain. i dont see anything wrong with legalizing it because they can tax it and make a lot more jobs than now. of course it would need to have limits like everything else in this world...

weed is our peace giver. This plant was given to us as a way to relieve our pains and get along with everyone. We could solve so much, with just a simple decision from our government.

So i have smoked for about 6 years now. And i hear more every day about pot. If they legalized weed they could make money off that made not just in selling it so we can smoke it but getting oil oxygen. one plant gives off more oxygen then a tree does. Weed produces oil so if they have feilds of plants then we would have a lot more oil then they say we do. and for the ones that think smoking pot can give u cancer it cant. MEDICAL MARIJUANA it is given out..my gram smoked it cuz she had cancer. It helps to take away the pain. a doctor would not give it out if it gave u cancer. It can kill ur brain cells but hey guess what u keep growing brain cells. If they do legalize it they need to put rules on it just like alocohol. have a limit to how much u have if ur driving a car. Stuff like that..

i agree, they should legalize marijuana. i smoke everyday, for health problems and pain. if they can prescribe pills, and stuff they sure can sell it and make money like taxing it. i think it would be a good thing if they did and have no worries specially people that need it.

Ok, first the economy has the completly wrong idea about bud. They see it as a bad thing that can mess up your life... well have you ever heard anything about marijunia messing up someones life? I know i havent. They think its a bad thing bcus they see on the news "gangsters killed someone and had possesion of marijunia".It just makes it look bad ya kno? Marijunia could be used to save this economy and i doubt the economy will ever be better unless they legalize marijunia. Its impossible to be in a bad mood after you've taken a couple hits off some highgrade. It litteraly makes EVERYTHING you do better such as music, sex, driving, walking, meeting new people, and just talking. It could improve the tax for the government as well. But i mean im not the best guy to talk to about this. But i will stand up for Marijuana anyday in my life.

I used to smoke. I used to smoke daily. Then I got caught on school property and have to take random drug tests for a year. I hate it. I'm a 17 year old father and have a lot of family problems and pot makes it a lot easier to get through the day. Obama says that if people spend more money, it could help stimulate the economy. If pot is legalized, do you know how many people would buy it and keep buying it? A lot. And yes, people do have the wrong idea about marijuana. Sure, it puts a little bit of natural tar in your lungs and kills short term memory brain cells, but you never hear about someone who killed their family because he smoked a joint or two. Legalizing marijuana would be a great thing for this country.

i smoke bud daily, i play semi pro football im in great shape i work and go to school. I can run for long disances and i run the 40yrd dah in 4.8 seconds. Pro football players doctors and even some of the most respected teachers smoke weed. Im not saying everyone smoke weed, im stating these things because i feel there are already so many people who smoke if we legalize it then people wont have to die over it. My best friend died a couple months ago he ws walking hom efrom 7/11 and was hit by a drunk driver. Im not saying people should get stoned and drive around im saying if alcohol can be legal and kills tons of people how do you justify this? i hurt no one and im very passionate about our environment i do more for the earth than most people on a day to day basis. imnot saying yoru a bad person if you dont do these things but im normal im a nice guy and i have kids. i just like to take the back pain away with som egood hemp, not to mention the plant it self is beautiful and can help our world in so many great ways not just getting high and taxing it. think before you speak, atleast second hand pot smoke wont give you any form of cancer... or your kids.

exactly marijuana is only illigal because in 1930 hemp possed as a cheap replacment to paper and clothes so the timber indusrty wouls lose billions in paper money so they went on an anti pot campain. weed being illigal is agianst the constitutions bill of rights and we americans should have the right to choose if ciggertes cause cancer and are proven to kill more people than alcohal then y is it legal to sell giggeretes for the pot smoking comunity if ur willingto legalize weed in exchange for a tax we are willing to pay that tax to not have to look over our shoulders all the time

What would smoking marijuana hurt any of the american people? it wouldnt. the only reason its illegal is because the government says so. theres no real reason, its way less dangerous than alcohol is, so why shouldnt it be legal? it would help the economy out because all the pot smokers would be able to buy it legally, and there are many of them out there, people who think its bad because the TV said so are ignorant, do your own research, and get your own reasons.
