I KNOW HE WAS OF AGE TO SERVE DURING THE VIETNAM WAR, AND WHY DIDN'T HE SERVE? RUMOR HAS IT THAT HE MIMED BILL CLINTON. IS THIS TRUE?

I agree with KIM of MD. He is absolutely right. I am tired of watching the three monkeys. I do not watch MSNBC at all. It is boring. All their one sided in the election they will see soon what is going to happen in the future. That is all. RAM

chuck Todd must be an idiot to put Hillary Clinton in the same sentence with this idiot, she was very clear and concise in her reasons for running for President, they continue to try and beat a dead dog. I can't stand anyone on MSNBC, they are blocked from my television, I don't even want to happen upon them.

Matthews, Olberman, and Maddow do not claim to be unbiased. It's obvious that they are expressing liberal opinions and ideas. They are not ashamed to express their points of view, unlike FOX, which claims to be "fair and balanced." Are O'Reilly and Hannity ashamed to admit the narrowness of their vision? Or are they totally oblivious to other possibilities and documented facts?

I am constantly amazed at how one sided MSNBC is in their"coverage" of the important political issues of the day.

In fairness to Chris Matthews, he is not nearly as bad as Keith Oberman and Rachel Maddow. When I do tune in, I say to myself, I am going to stay tuned in until I hear something that is blatantly partisan, totally untrue, or should be challeneged but isn,t.

After one year my record is 2 minutes without switching to a real news network.

I also notice that the few people I know who watch MSNBC or CNN rarely know their facts. That's why I try to avoid any but the most superficial discussions with them.

I love CHris MAtthews and I think that he feels what most feel. He puts things in a historical sense. He does not engange in "proffesional talk" but he doesnt have to, by far better in commentation and in reporting then a Limbaugh or a Hannity! 0

Chris Matthews is truly the most self righteous SOB on T.V. He is not only stupid ,but uneducated and very aggorant , he would be a perfect fit for government.

Matthews is all about creating labels for negative association. He takes Rick Santelli and puts him the same category with Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity because that will make for a dismissive perception. He can't have Santelli as an average guy with fresh voiced displeasure. He has to define him as a partisan hater. Imagine partisan haters AL Franken/ Chris Matthews in the senate... But Matthews would not have as much freedom to voice his hatred in the senate as he does on his high blood pressure show, although he would still contribute to partisan vitriol. He's a vile man, a child enthusing at a neurotic clip, a bully-mauler-motormouth, self-consciously assuming a false sense of responsibility to help Obama succeed, just like he did previously to promote Hatred for all things Bush and Cheney. Matthews offers no solutions, he offers hatred.

I totally believe that Matthews didn't have a clue.

However, John McCain and Hillary Clinton were very passionate about their Presidency and knew exactly why they wanted to run.

To compare Mathews to McCain and Clinton is absurd.

Matthews is a complete loon.....

Chris Matthews does not seem to have a long term plan. His command of the english language is good, but not great. His intellect is acute and his memory is good, and he can focus on minutia, but when he does so, becomes repetative to the point of mind-numbing nausea. But his worst trait is not that he won't let other people talk, its that he flitters from topic to topic like a puppy.

Having watched him for 8 or 9 years now, I still don't have a good sense of his priorities, other than a latent affection for the Catholic Church and a fondness for college students.

Does he have a set of priorities? Does he have a global approach to endemmic problems of middle america? Or does he just like the endless debate?
