Democrats: We Should Get Obama Jobs, Not Republicans and Reporters

My observations:

1. The Republicans are louder and windier..uh, wordier.

2. Republicans tell blatant lies; Dems stretch and/or embellish the truth.

3. Democrats mention the middle class often and with compassion. Republicans seem to not know the middle class exists, unless they're criticizing them for spending beyond their means but without any acknowledgment that their jobs and their savings have all but disappeared.

5. Democrats know histoy. Republicans make it up to suit their needs.

6. Republicans are the party of "no." Democrats are the party of "Yes we can."

That's the first six.

Didn't you know that the media was McCain's "base" as he proclaimed more than once?

Please check in first to know how Michael Steele defines jobs vs. work. I am so glad the Reps selected him!

After observing the love and closeness among the Palin family members, Sarah is definitely the kind of person I would want taking care of my kids. She is loving, fun, yet maintains discipline. She is a hard worker and expects that from her children. Everything is about "family" with her, and their entire family seems very happy and close. That is why Trig traveled with his parents on the campaign trail. He was where he was happiest and safest and where he should have been - with his parents. Germs and noise - what a 19th century comment (Carrie)! The Palin family is real, happy, together. The Obamas do not appear real or happy to me. I do not want angry Michelle anywhere near my kids!

Re-writing the Kyoto Protocol

A layman’s definition of Fuzzy Logic is arriving at a solution which collectively and directionally solve a multi-variable problem without a requirement to fully understand the mechanism of each variable or combined effects.

The Kyoto Protocol is based on Fuzzy Logic by suggesting that man made Green House Gases is the cause of global warming and climate change. The protocol is well intended by providing an opportunity to clean up the planet and create new technologies and employment opportunities but should not proceed in its current format.

The intent of the Kyoto Protocol, ratified in February 16, 2005, was to stabilize Green House Gas (GHG) concentrations in the atmosphere that would prevent human interference with the earth’s climate system.

Specifically, the treaty established a legally binding commitment amongst 183 industrialized nations for the reduction of six greenhouse gases (GHGs); carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxides (NOx), sulfur hexafluoride, hydrofluorocarbons and perfluorocarbons (known as CFCs).

Collectively, industrial nations agreed to reduce their GHG emissions by 5.2% from levels recorded in the year 1990. Mandated reductions by nations include; European Union of Nations 8%, USA 7%, Japan 6%, China, Russia & India 0%. Australia was allowed to increase emissions by 8% and Iceland by 10%.

Kyoto also included mechanisms for GHG emitting countries to purchase GHG emission reduction credits from non GHG emitting countries. Non polluting countries could use these credits to sustain existing reduction mechanisms, for example, forest CO2 sequestration or new GHG emission reduction projects.

Kyoto has deliberately blamed changes in the earth’s climate on concentrations of certain GHGs without taking into consideration major GHGs such as water vapor, clouds, volcanoes, the Milankovitch cycle and soot.

The Kyoto Protocol is flawed and should be modified because of the following reasons;

1. The Protocol claims that carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxides (NOx) and Chloro-fluoro-hydrocarbons (CFCs) produced by human activity have contributed to Global Warming.

Scientists say that since the year 1750 the atmospheric CO2 concentration has risen from 280 ppm to 387 ppm, methane CH4 has risen from 0.70 ppm to 1.745 ppm and nitrous oxide NOx has risen from 0.044 ppm to 0.314 ppm and CFCs from 0 to 533 ppt.

Other scientists say that the average global temperature rose from 13.85 degree C in 1880 to 14.60 degree C in 2004 due to GHGs produced by human activity.

Scientists also say the above mentioned GHGs produced by human activity account for 5% of the total GHGs from all human activity. The other 95% of GHGs are produced from natural sources.

Scientists say that water vapor (H2O) is a GHG and its atmospheric concentration ranges from 0-40,000 ppm (4%).

Scientists also say that GHGs such as ground level O3 has concentrations of 0-40 ppb and CO with concentr

I'm writing as a Registered Nurse and as a mother whose teenage daughter became pregnant at 16. The poll results just now, 54% Sarah Pain and 39% Michelle Obama, reflect in my opinion exactly what's wrong with the US public. Palin exposed her unwed pregnant daughter to international scrutiny by accepting the VP nomination and repeatedly exposed her special needs infant to deafening noise and crowds (germs!). I don't believe any reputable pediatrician would have recommended either. Obama on the other hand has not only shielded her children from excessive exposure but put their welfare front and center, not to mention her continuous advocacy of the welfare of children. Talk about "family values"! What's not to get here? What's wrong with American readers of US News? To which of these women would I entrust the care of my child? Obama, hands down. It's a no-brainer.

Susan - What an unintelligent comment! From what I've heard lately, there sure is a long line of Democrats who don't pay taxes!! And the $1 trillion bailout was written by Democrats and voted on almost exclusively by Dems. I'm afraid that Obama and his crew will prove that Dems have no idea how to handle the economy. I just hope our country is salvageable in 4 years!

P.A. of IN 7:11AM February 22, 2009

I don't remember Obama running on a platform of party loyalty. Could it be that his administration feels these other folks are the best suited for certain jobs, and aren't going to pander to party insiders as much as they would like? They seem to think that being a Democrat was all the qualification they needed, and when non-Democrats get the positions they were angling for, they assume it must be some skulduggery rather than just a better candidate.

As for these comments here about paying taxes and not seeing the benefits, what a hoot. Take a look at ye old map, country-folk. Its we city slickers who pay the most taxes, and the metropolitan areas are predominantly Democrat. You hear that? It's the world's tiniest violin playing just for you.

Oh, unless you mean to tell me you commenters are CEOs... in which case you might better be worried about UBS ratting you out for *evading* your taxes.

" They just robbed us of a trillion dollars. It was a handout that they called a "bailout."

PUSHED BY DEMS, SIGNED WITH RESERVATIONS BY BUSH.

Please go search on who were the biggest receipients of Fanni PAC $. (DODD, FRANK AND OBAMA- mccain LAST)

Make sure you verify that disgraced F/F head Franklin Ranes advised /supported Obama.

Then let us know which of /when the last Obama cabinet appointees paid their taxes?

Be sure and let us know when you find out how DEM Charley Rangel isbeing disciplined for THIRTY YEARS OF BAD FILINGS.

Also fill us in on how the new DEM AG heped pardon Marc Rich.

Then be sure and see who madoff contributed most to.

Finally, check and see which party got most of the $ in donations from Wall Steet.
