13 Things Obama's $13 Stimulus Will Buy You

the $13 comes from tax cuts, which means you WILL see it... in reality, they're reducing the amount of taxes they take out by $13. Do some research and get accurate information before you complain. Also, make sure you're claiming all your tips, and if you don't claim 100% of your tips, don't complain about not seeing the extra $13 because you're probably stiffing the government a LOT more than $13. I've been a server before, I know people don't claim 100%.

People should do more research of MA 1:56PM February 23, 2009

It's amazing how some people can see so much negativity

in the stimulus package but, when Bush was letting the American

people be robbed with his bill signing, no one saw anything, heard anything, and for damn sure, didn't do anything. Try and

get over the hatered toward President Obama, after all, he's trying to put this country back on track. Unlike the last Republican president that put all the money that use to flow in the economic into the pockets of the so call CEO's and his bank account.

This crunch started with the Sub-Prime Morgage Loans. The Democrat's Were in charge of that. It was not Bush's fault. Man, you people are lost, but our SAVIOR Obama is here to give us his whole one and a half years of experience in the United States Senate and his two years of running for President experience to fix his parties wrong doings. Grow some dingle barries people. the Democrats ruined this economy. Open your eyes.

Obama, Kiss My %&*.

Not so dumb!!! of IL 12:32PM February 22, 2009

We the people voted for change. We sure did get it. We recieved a WHOPPING $13.00 dollars a week more. Well, I guess he did not lie when he said we will recieve a tax break. We recieved a trillion dollar spending spree. WOW god bless OBAMA, and now it's time to cut the deficit. OBAMA with his 1 1/2 years in the senate REALLY, REALLY knows what he is doing. I hope everyone that voted for this BOZO THE CLOWN is very happy about his progress in the white house. OBAMA, what is going on for the month of March? Why don't you tax the toilet paper so that we can't wipe your %$#@ from our bottoms. Then you will absolutly make sure that we are all with you "our SAVIOR" until your second term ends.

You are a fool OBAMA.

I keep hearing our paycheck withdrawl will be adjusted. My question is: Will what we owe in April be adjusted so we get to keep the money. OR... Will the people who usually gey money back will get less and the people who pay will have to pay more???

Thanks for the advice..But my wireless internet connection is FREE..And I'm not whining to anyone nor do i have my hand out! IF my hand was out..I would probably swallow my pride and jump on the welfare wagon! I could very much afford my house and anything else I wanted when I bought it. I never expected to lose my job..It can happen to anybody. I don't think that i'm "too good" to do any type of work but by the time i pay for childcare while i work those 3 jobs, i would essentially be working for free! I'm not asking for help..I'm stating facts to prove my point. AND..now that i've defended my character...I have a thought...Wouldn't it have made more sense to, instead of bailing out the banks and wallstreet, to bailout the taxpayers? If we could all pay our bills, the banks wouldn't need help. Oh but then that would be a handout and some of you would rather that money go to the megarich people that got us in this mess to begin with than in your pocket! That's really bright in my opinion! BUT..there's no sense in arguing about it now...what's done is done and nobody really agrees with it but we may as well accept it and stop griping!

about to lose it of AL 11:07PM February 21, 2009

Republicans insisted that the amount be lowered.

So whine to them if you have a beef.

$13 week can pay for gas.

I guess I am just a disgruntled McCain supporter but all Obama has done is given the Americans is pocket change. I think it is quite humorous.... At least George Bush gave us enough money to help some of us with a mortgage car note etc. I think he has lied to the American public and guess what guests there are more lies coming our way. I think 13.00 will not solve my issues or any one else's issues because it does not even cover a tank of gas for a week. I think that he should just keep it. We as Americans should be prouder than that. It is like giving a mouse a piece of cheese and breaking it into very small morsels for the mice to feed on. I think it is a joke but we needed change so be content with yourselves and back your great president. I look forward to the next elections and hopefully the race won’t be a popularity race but it will be based on the candidate’s issues and how it will affect us as Americans. God Bless our country, having Obama as president, we need

I did and so could you!!! Quit blaming everyone else take some pride in yourself and go to work..... do something besides hold your hand out.... This guy make Bush look like a genius How long before we are in total collapse. Bad ideas (no ideas) take from someone else

Well, "about to lose it of AL" maybe the first thing you should do is cancel your internet account, that will sae you at least $13.00.

And for your information I have lost a job, my house, and everything else, but I didn't waste my time typing on th einternet, I went out and found a job. It wasn't the job I wanted or the best paying job but it was a job.

Stop being a victim!
