I WOULD LOVE IT SO MUCH IF WE COOULD GIVE OUR PRESIDENT A REAL CHANCE. WE ALLOWED A PRESIDENT IN OFFICE FOR 8 YEARS WHO DID NOTHING, BUT LIED AND GOT US INTO A WAR THAT I DO NOT SEE AN END TO YET. I ALWAYS WONDERED WHY WHEN BUDGETS ARE CUT ITS THE POOR AND THE CHILDREN WHO ARE THE FIRST TO BLEED.

THIS PRESIDENT TRIED TO HELP THE COMPANIES LIKE AIG AND AIG TRIED TO CHEAT US AGAIN! THANK GOD HE WAS ALL OF THE PEOPLE'S PRESIDENT AND FOUGHT RIGHT BACK TO LET THEM KNOW NOT THIS TIME! WE ALL NEED TO BE BEHIND THIS MAN WE NEED TO FIGHT WITH HIM, AND FOR HIM, NOT AGAINST HIM

.

WHEN IS THE LAST TIME WE HAD A PRESIDENT COME OUT THE DOOR FIGHTING FOR US ALL. I DON'T CARE WHAT COLOR HE IS OR THAT HE DOESN'T BELONG TO THE GOOD OLE BOYS CLUB. THEIR TIME IS UP IT IS TIME FOR THE YOUNGER PEOPLE TO LOOK AT THIS FAMILY AND THEIR VALUES HARD.

YOU GUYS WANT A ROLE MODEL. HE IS NOT A SUPER STAR OR A SPORTS SUPER STAR BUT IN THE EYES OF OUR YOUNG HE SHOULD BE.SO, LET'S STOP BEING NAY SAYORS HE HAS ONLY BEEN IN OFFICE A LITTLE OVER 3 MONTHS.

HE SAID IF WE WORK TOGETHER IT WILL NOT BE EASY AND WILL TAKE A LONG TIME BUT AS A COUNTRY TOGETHER WE WILL COME OUT OF THIS HARD TIME AND BE THE LEADER AGAIN AS A COUNTRY. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PROUD TO BE A BLACK AMERICAN, NOW I AM JUST PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN. GOB BLESS US ALL!

I think she seem to be a secure person and I like her interest

in the soldiers. I believe she is sincere.

I like the way she trains her children. I don't know much

about their religion. I would like to know if they belong to

a church there in Washington. I think that is the heart of the

family. Going to church and worshipping God together. I haven't

seen a picture on TV or in the paper of them going to church.

I think that is terrific that Mrs. Obama is taking on such a great task and helping out our military families and supporting them. Michelle is a caring, sweet, and intelligent person who has a heart of gold. I am sure that many stories have touched her. She is much braver than I to listen to them (I would be a emotional basketcase if I heard them). Our military families should be supported by everyone too not just our First Lady. I think we think about our serviceman but the families are there and need our support because it takes great sacrifice to give up a loved one. Communities should do more than asked and give, give, give, because they truly gave. If you know a family member who is lonely invite them over to dinner and let them share their stories and sacrifices, then you know what true sacrifice really is. Pray for them and always let them know you are thinking of them, even military wives with no families. Pay a bill for them, take them out for dinner at a nice restrauant, make them a cake or homemade goodies, offer to babysit, so they can have a night to take a breather. Above all, let them know they are loved and cherished. Michelle, thanks for taking the right step and reminding Americans that we all need to do our part!

Although I am pleased that the color of Obamas' skin did not prevent him from being elected President; I am truly sorry to hear that so many voted for him based solly on that fact. Would a White Candidate who was Pro Choice...(read pro abortion)been able to avoid the backlash of those who claim to be Christian...much less Clergy. I am saddened to see so many ministers speak of the "content of his Character" in such glowing terms.I want to see him sucessful as President. He is MY president. I reserve the right to disagree with him as I would if he was white or any other ethnic persuasion. We are going to take on the largest deficeit in the history of our country...and very well may see the economic collapse of our nation in our lifetime. I don't doubt our Presidents integrity or his good intent...I question his judgement. May God help him lead us to the prosperity he promised in his campaign.

Of the many issues she could have selected, our new First Lady has taken on a tough one, which requires understanding the broad variety of issues each family is facing. Mrs. Obama is using her abilities to provide much-needed support for military families and veterans. How kind and thoughtful of her! It's good to see a complimentary article about her and what she is doing in her new role.

It is a pleasure to read positive happenings at the White House.

The negativity and ugliness by many Republicans, has made me

fell that they do not want this presidency to achieve or to succeed.

A wonderful tribute to First Lady Michelle Obama. America can be proud of her accomplished life and willingness to help others. She is a unique combination of beauty, grace under pressure and brains. Her strength is needed at this challenging time.
