When the ghetto's and poor start getting agitated that their lives aren't getting better, rather worse, under his administration, and the riots start, the rest of the world will cheer for the carnage.

Uh huh...will you be taking your pickup truck to the lynching?

Republicans, face it, the majority of you dont give a what about anyone but yourselves. You dont care about America or its people. You just use policies to mask your underlying selfishness, greed, and racism. The reason I am saying this is because many of you never, ever take responsibility for your mistakes. How can you say: you hope Obamas policies fail?? Do you know how selfish that is?? There are people who cannot FEED their children right now. Losing their homes, jobs and more. And all you can hope for is failure? How selfish, how Un-American. Even if you dont like Obama, know that his failure is Americas failure. How dare you disrespect people who are struggling right now like this?? You should pray to God that Obama succeeds. It does not matter whose policy succeeds as long as America is no linger suffering. The American people need this win. But you dont care about that do you?? Let them suffer if its Obama who is in charge. How low of you to feel that way. THis is peoples lives we are talking about.

Im neither party, but I will say that Republicans are turning off massive amounts of people. I was considering the republican party until the level of ignorance was unbearable.

We are in this mess BECAUSE of the past Republican president. Blame it on the Democratic policies, but then that simply means in 8 years your president couldnt turn it around. That means failure. That means you are not equipped to lead.

You have been voted out of the presidential office, and have been limited to a few seats in Congress.

Wake up or your brand will die until your intelligence returns. Republicans dont care about the stimulus package not creating jobs, TARP has not created a single job, but was basically welfare for the rich.

Or maybe you are afraid a Black man can succeed where a Republican white man failed?? Maybe your true fear.

are now the symbols of the Republican Party. That's why Obama always brings them up. He knows this country is not center right, that even the most rural areas are full of people who have family members on food stamps and who believe in their public schools.

Democrats will happily get us out of this financial mess the same way we got the country out of every other economic crisis and war.

Everyone would you please just be quite!!!!! You had nothing to say for the eight past years when bush screwed up this country. Now you won't even give Obama a chane. You people just want to bash him every chance you get. When he gets this country back on track, what will you say then!

That's the news flash. Since 1980, there have been 20 years of Republican Presidents. Look were we are now. When Reagan came into office the top individual tax bracket was 70%- now it's 35%, and Republicans are complaining that is too high . At the same time, folks are worried that programs like Medicare will go broke - does anyone else see a connection? Supply-side economics ( read tax cuts) might serve well for short-term stimulus, but as we can see they are a long-term economic disaster. Job creation is what will lead to the end of this recession, because folks will then have money to spend, as opposed to just enough money to pay off the electric bill. Republicans say they want to be bipartisan, yet they voted unanimously against the stimulus bill after being consulted .

My prediction is that they will do the same in the Senate --HOPING THE BILL DOES NOT STIMULATE THE ECONOMY-- so that they can say they knew it was a bad idea and therefore voted against it , setting them up to run in 2010.

The Republian Party is slowly becoming the party of no. I watched as a Congressman tried to strip all "untested and new" programs from the House version of the stimulus bill.

Don't even get me started on the anonymous Republican Senator that is putting a hold on Hilda Solis' nomination to be Secretary of Labor. Is this what you call bipartisanship and working together? Really?

You repubs make me sick!! Give him a chance! We lived through 8 years of Bush policies now its time to do something else.

It's amazing how unrepentant some people are, not even giving a chance to someone who is there basically to clean up the mess his predecessor created. Divisive, huh? Now look who's talking? With such frenzied reactions to Obama, I don't know if they can be capable of unifying people themselves. Talking about Limbaugh and Fox, who can be more divisive than those two?

Of course the Dems are in the majority and they're damned if they reach out to the other side and they're damned if they don't they're still damned. These GOPs have an answer to everything. Well, you just wait for four more years, or perhaps eight, or more if you want to come back. But with the kind of base the GOP is having the kind of change they want will take more time. Why? because that base is eroding and despite one of their biggest mobilizations in the last elections it is clear that they're not in the majority. America is changing so deal with it!

There are many people - tax payers - who are in low paying jobs and have taxes withheld each week. Then, in April, they file their income tax returns and get a refund of all they have paid in. Pres. Obama says give workers a tax cut now rather than a tax refund later. It will go into the economy every week.

It seems to me this particular president is reaching out to re-build what a republican control government has destroyed (I include the Senate... Having a one vote advantage is not an advantage, especially when that one vote was Lieberman; a Republican in Dems clothing). Why is it, that a man can't ask for co-operation without being accused of trickery. The GOP had it their way. All the bills that were acceptable to them went through over the last 8 years. The other bills were filibustered (Over 50....A record number). Deregulation set the stage. Saying this nation is center right is saying that the nation is to the right and tolerates central views and ideals. That's why you LOST. Limbaugh and Fox News is a joke, and that is why their ratings are slipping. The only reason they are on top ever is due to the choices of true fair and balanced news stations.

Stop whining, it's SAD...Stupid and Dumb.
