A Comeback for the Clinton Scandals?

This time it's Hillary all by herself sticking her foot in her mouth. During the runoff with the anoited one in two seperate incidents to black audicences she lied. No! I not tolally brain dead - yet. I'm sick and tired of people, especially politicians who make false statements, insult people, and I'm still waiting to see if they can get away with slander now that Murtha has gotten away with giving $114.4 million in goverment contracts to companies in his district who "donated" and only those who who "donated" to his reelection (over $400,000) bribery any way you cut it.

To ron g from Calif. The democrats in congress are not going to fix our economy. In a federal report that was sealed when the democrats and the unions ran to sympathetic judges. However, befor it was sealed a part of it was read and reported plus it is in a book called Betrayed and something about how the democrats and the unions are ruining this country. The part that was read stated that union bosses give 80% of the union dues to the democrats. At a rally the anointed one stated that when he was president there would be less union oversight and on that stage was none other than Mr. Sweeney head of the AFL/CIO. My first thought was if the goverment had any less union oversight the goverment would have to forget they exist. You watch, there will probably be a bailout of the big3 auto and the unions concessions will be offset by company stock or something to that effect.

Clinton and Carter and their desire to give low income individuals mortgages is practically the sole reason we are in the economic mess we are in now. Without their meddling the Bush administration would have Iraq as the downside and domestic safety and eight years of a prosperous economy as upsides.

Keep the Clintons and all their luggage out of sight but certainly not out of mind

Steve Romanick of 12:32PM December 11, 2008

"Have you been asleep the last eight years.?" No, not during 2000 when the country was in a recession and the cole was bombed during clinton's administration and clinton did nothing.

Obama made a deal with the devil and the forever corrupt clintons will reap the benefit at the expense of the nation.

It's lamentable that people have short memories.

I'm sick and tired of the muckrakers. The conservatives haven't caught on yet that the entire country is tired of the slandering attack dogs. Maybe when they've lost a dozen more elections, they get a clue.

"These people are bent on power and have no morals on how to acquire it."

Same can be said for the neo-cons in W's regime. Bumblesfeld, Wolfowitz, Cheney.. c'mon.

"All the Clinton corruption is a stain on our history.

Cognitive dissonance with the nonsense of the last 8 years? Our image abroad has not been stained by Bush's isolationist tactics?

"We should expect to see government getting bigger."

Fact - we have experienced the largest growth of government and federal deficit under Bush administration.

"Coasting more money and meddling where it otherwise would/should not"

I'm assuming you meant "costing"... and this certainly applies to Iraq (both the billions in financial cost and the false justification for being there in the first place.

"Further hurting the economy and driving business and jobs out of America"

Deregulation hasn't contributed to this? We are experiencing the worst recession and financial crisis in a generation... oh wait, I am sure you have the answer for this: It's Clinton's fault. 8 years of Dubya and let's blame the predecessor.

"Finally culminating in some sort of scandal that will further our great image at home and abroad."

Are you kidding?

"How short sighted, ignorant of history, and selfish. Maybe we are just getting what we deserve!"

Look in the mirror. What a tool.

Jason never mentioned his opinions on Bush, only the Clintons. You guys are very sensitive.

Bush has done almost nothing good for our country, and you still pro-bush? i don't get you, are you pro-bush, or are you just a hater who hates anyone who is doing better than Bush and your republican leftist?

Cmo of OH 5:38PM December 07, 2008

Jason. What alternative reality are you living in? Bush has done more damage to the image of the U.S. than ANYONE in history! Every statement you made about the Clintons you can magnify ten-fold for Bush. Take your meds, my boy!

we should expect to see government getting bigger (coasting more money and meddling where it otherwise would/should not), cooperation’s taking another financial hit (this one’s a tax increase) further hurting the economy and driving business and jobs out of America

Have you been asleep the last eight years.?

Cooperation's had a tax cut. Wall street thought that was wonderful. What has it cost the tax payer? Way more than the little tax cut they received.

and meddling where it otherwise would/should not.

Today I can make a prerogative statement about our screwed up government and now I will be heard by it's illegal spying on it's citizen

No surprise! These people are bent on power and have no morals on how to acquire it. "All the Clinton corruption is a stain on our history."… Well said. With what appears to be a ramping up for another Clinton administration with Barrak Obama’s name (how I hope this is just me and not reality), we should expect to see government getting bigger (coasting more money and meddling where it otherwise would/should not), cooperation’s taking another financial hit (this one’s a tax increase) further hurting the economy and driving business and jobs out of America, and finally culminating in some sort of scandal that will further our great image at home and abroad. As for the comment prior…It is stamens like ‘I DONT CARE’ that will bring about the end of our enjoyed freedoms here in America from apathetic non-voters and voters alike, who ‘don’t care’ if their leaders are corrupt as long as the economy is fine. How short sighted, ignorant of history, and selfish. Maybe we are just getting what we deserve!
