I agree, the president does not need free milkbones.

Milkbones and other companies for pets should make sure the food banks have enough for the pets of people who go there.

I for one, always include dog food when donating.

I am SO tired of people getting things for free that i have to struggle to pay for. The president doesn't have to worry about his income like the rest of us do. I struggle every week to be able to get what my family needs. I am outraged that some people are getting everything handed to them on a silver plate. The families who are having kids like a litter of puppies (6,8 kids) get FREE home, vacations, cars, etc. I haven't been able to take my family on vacation for the last 12 years, just because I only have one child. If I were MASS PRODUCING CHILDREN, i would have all of these nice things for free. Who started the thinking that just because you have many multiples you are entitled to a free ride???

The Portuguese Water Dog makes wonderful pets, and their curly hairs are so handsome. A good choice for the Obama family, now some questions remain: male or female, how will they call it?

ALL THE ANIMAL RESCUE PEOPLE SHOULD GET THEM FREE FOR THEIR ANIMALS INSTEAD!HE CAN AFFOR IT! THE rescue people CANT AFFORD TO FEED EVERYONES RESCUED ANIMALS THAT HAVE BEEN ABONDENED AND ABUSED,THESE ANIMALS DESERVE A CHANCE TO LIVE TOO!

That's unfair, I have to pay for my milk bones, If i'm lucky enough to have a few dollars left each week.

I feel that Milk-Bone could pay a higher tribute to the new "first dog". Why not donate the bones for life to the many animal shelters and Humane Societies in this country for all the dogs who are not fortunate enough to have good homes and do this in honor of the "first dog". What greater tribute could there be? I have more respect for a company that would do this instead of just giving them free to one non needy dog as an advertising ploy.

I hope Obama donates the bones to an animal shelter or rescue group for the millions of starving animals who need it. Milk-bone, wow, very disappointing!

I am so angry and outraged about this. I will find another treat for my dog. Milk-Bones just lost my business. Why can't they give a lifetime of treats to the hundreds of struggling shelters around the country? The Obamas do not need a free lifetime of treats!
