The Democratic National Committee is hosting the night's biggest Obama victory party in Washington, D.C., and everyone is getting cool party stuff like bumper stickers and clappers.

The party, at the Mayflower Hotel, has all the networks but MSNBC on the big screen. The mood is pretty light, but people are still nervous. Cash bar. Howard Dean's not here; he's in Chicago. We'll post more pictures later.

How about waiting at least until January, when everyone takes office?

Now is the time for Democrats to make good on all their campaign promises.
