Mr. President,

This is more of a suggestion than a comment, and I would like for you to at least give this idea some thought.

With just one of the billion dollars out of the " bail-out " package, why not spread it out to many of the SMALL busineses around this country. We have all been taxed to death for so long that it has frozen our ability to grow. without growth we can not continue to hire more people that truely need jobs in our area. I understand that you can't just give money to everyone that comes along, but if a small business has managed to survive for the past five years, I believe that they have proven that their not trying to be a fly-by-night type of business, and are truely trying to make it even through the Bush times.

I own a small cleaning service ( Gluck Cleaning Services Inc. ) and have managed to build several accounts, but yet still work an average of 100 hours per week, because I can't afford to hire any more help. there are many busineses like mine around this country, and if we could get just a small break I gurantee that there would be a significant growth in our economy. If you truely want to help the middle class American, please remember to get down to where we live, and understand that there is an unlimited potential for growth for us if we just had a little help, $500,000 to $1,000,000 would be money that you could be assured would begin to create many small community jobs throughout the entire country.

For all us struggling small busineses in the USA, I would just like to drop this small food for thought, and truely hope that you will, at least, give it some thought.

Thank you for your valuable time, and I pray your consideration.

YEs, he promises change for the nation. But, what kind of change.

Radical left?

Why is radical left better than radical right?

Do you mean change, like he's already changing his mind, from what he ran on/

"I'm for clean coal technology". Now he's going to put a $penalty on the coal companies, and says they may be bankrupt by it.

"I'm for off shore drilling, and other natural gas in certain areas." Now he wants to reverse BUshes legislation on that, and not have either.

"95% of Americans will not see a tax increase". But, he didn't say every day in his campaign rallies, that he wants to reverse Bushes tax cuts, and that would bring the cut off amount, for "no increased taxes", to $42,500

A bit differenct from what he's "promised", don't you think?

And, all those yrs that he and his dem friends supporting ACORN, and the 30 yr devastation of our housing loan/bank situation in this country.

Why is he to be trusted at all?

The media acts like he's Camolot II, and he's everything of the brightest and the best. The media is saying nothing negative about Obama, and that doesn't come as a surprise. Most media is liberal.

We will hear this for the next 4 yrs, even if he does something not good for our country, because, when a democrat is in office, this is what our media does best.

They waged a war against Bush, from the getgo, and the truth is, other than La., Michigan, Ohio and maybe 2 other states, the whole of the U.S. has not been in economic crisis, until this yr. Read the interest rates, unemployment rates, job growth, and economic growth charts. They reflect a good economy, considering we weathered a recession from 1999, & 9/11. The war on terror has been fought bravely and consitently with Pres. Bush. Thank God for that protection and his preserverence.

Obama? Wants to cut everything to do with security and programs that protect our security. And, he wants to cut military.

When our nation faces the next terrorist crisis, and as BIden said himself, quote, "WE WILL, mark my words", and we are stripped of what we need to fight back, as Pres. Bush had ready to do, what will all of you Barack supporters say then?

Of course, it will be someone else's fault. With the dems and liberals, it always is.

And, before you try to attack Bush on Michigan's economics, look to Granholms record and read how she has run a 1-state recession for the last 6-1/2 yrs!

And, with you libs, she too gets a pass. No responsiblity at all for what we've been through here. None, what a shame that as governor, she can't be honest with the people of this state. At least, we'd have respect for her, then.

And, she is on Obama's economic advisory team?

Heaven help us.

This is the team that will lift us to hope?

Yeah, and the sun rised in the west.

I just received an e-mail via barackobama.com asking for $30 Donation for a t-shirt to help the DNC. This is not right, especially after the Campaign had money left over. Don't take advantage of us out here ... it will be your undoing. We supportted Barack ... now let's see if he can get me back to work, after getting laid off.

I'm thrilled that you are now our President Elect! I urge you to find a dog for your daughters at a Humane Shelter. That will send yet another positive message to our country and many others will follow your direction and protect animals that need good homes. Thank You. Joan Fleming joanf@wwt.net

This article is WAAAAY too short- I'm doing this current event thingy for school, and it has to be 500 to 1,000 words long. Let me repeat that 500 to 1,000 words long. I didn't even read the article, but if you are reading this and plan to submit an article, then make sure to make it 500 to 1,000 WORDS LONG! NOT LIKE 50 TO 100 LIKE THIS GUY DID!
