It was certainly interesting for me to read the blog. Thanx for it. I like such themes and anything that is connected to them. I would like to read a bit more on this blog soon. BTW, pretty nice design you have here, but what do you think about changing it every few months?

then maybe some stuff will get done in DC other than just blowing smoke and lining pockets.

How bad can a Capitol full of democrats be? The repubs make it like it's going to be an apocalypse, because they're all a bunch of whiners.

Uh, hello? McFly??? THE ECONOMY IS ALREADY FUBAR'D AFTER 8 YEARS OF THE REPUBLICAN METHOD! Give me a break.

Clinton, a democrat, gave us a balanced budget after REAGANOMICS.

After Clinton, the Bushies pushed our national debt so high the counter in NYC ran out of digits.

I'M DONE WITH THE REPUBLICAN METHOD OF TELLING ME ONE THING WHILE DOING THE EXACT OPPOSITE. They say they're fiscally conservative, but they ruined our economy! GIMME A BREAK!

Save us Obama! PLEASE!

All the sore loser republicans are blaming the media - eg, '...the media as malfeasant as it is.' What about Fox? Wall Street Journal? Murdoch's empire of papers? Rush and his clones? They're all The Media too! 'Media bias' is a pitiful excuse; there's media on each side of center and they all have some degrees of bias but mostly try to keep to the center.

Guess what, right wingers? A majority of people in the country are really and truly upset about the way the republican majority (including 6 of the past 8 years in both houses of congress) has screwed everything up! Blaming the media will get you nowhere - perhaps you need a bridge to get there?

We are screwed. I'm moving to Mexico. At least there you know that the government is the problem and no body expects differnt.

If I were the Senate leadership in January, I would be as fair and reasonable with new legislation as possible. I would try to bring about agreements. But at a certain point, the threat of filibusters would need to be met with telling the Republicans to put their money where their mouths are. This is the only way that I can see that the American people can be fully brought aboard to press their Republican senators to make it work.

Maybe if the RNC gave every Republican candidate a $150,000 shopping spree at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue it would turn the tide for them.

FDR must be smiling!

Finally, someone comes along and says that we need to grow the economy from the bottom up. In other words, let the people who really do the fighting in war and pay most of the taxes finally are counted as important.

Another ignorant liberal Democrat - most of the taxes are paid by the top 5% of income earners you moron! You'll probably even see more young low income earners go off to wars to fight under Obama after he takes his advisors notions and reimplements the draft...

You reap what you sow - So, basically you're a rich socialist? That just doens't ring true??? Why have you waited until now to help (?) shouldn't you have been sharing your wealth, couldn't you have done somethinkg to prevent this catastrophe? Apparently, now that you're rich you don't mind paying a little more in taxes... You sound like an Obama plant to be honest. Some of what you say is truth, Americans are living on credit but trickle down economics (which is a liberal / Democratic coined term to minimalize supply side economics) does in fact work and is the basis of capitalism. So, what you're espousing is a move away from capitalism toward socialism. Do you also agree with Obama that everyone is "entitled" to government provided health insurance. Socialized medicine! If so, I think both you and Obama should move to Great Brtitan because they have things set up just like the two of you want them and we see how great they're doing. Yeah right - that is why rich Brits come to the U.S. for serious medical care. Get a Grip - you also totally ignore that our current economic problems stem in no small part to the sub prime lending crisis brought on by your hero B. Obama and his cronies lending billions of dollars for homes to the unqualifed. You totally ignore that in your analysis. Your just another liberal trying to shape things the way you want them vice the way they really are.
