Democrats Looking to 2010 and a Balanced Budget

So, how is that balanced budget idea working out? We are at what, 1.4 Trillion?, in the hole? And, it is getting worse!

I dunno, the dems have been in power for two years, but didn't go on a wild spending spree except for giving Bush all the money he wanted for Iraq. If they do show fiscal restraint the Republicans will be out of power for decades to come! I say we go back to the days before Ronald Reagan and have the top tax rate for those making over 3 million a year at 71% - Reign in the CEOs from just trying to outwealth their CEO counterpart and maybe American business will start producing something besides jobs for those in other countries.

Dems have held the purse strings since 2006. Haven't seen much effort to control the budget since they took charge. B.O. will propose all kinds of new spending. The economy is in a tailspin anticipating higher taxes. No way the Dems will balance a budget.
