The thing I really hate is people calling her dumb. I mean, she's governer of Alaska,guys. How'd she get there if shes dumb?

I believe that if someone wants to make fun of her, its their choice. Frankly, dressing up as politicians has been "fad" for quite a time and I think that on halloween is anyone wishes to dress up as her instead of, say, G. W. Bush, go ahead if you actually know all of the facts, both good and bad, about her. Don't make fun w/out basis.
"Talk like Sarah Palin Day" is too much. Seriously, I mean, guys!

As a governor of my province in the Philippines during martial law, I find the criticisms against Sarah tasteless and inappropriate. She is the most real person I have seen in American television for a very, very long time.She is intelligent,charismatic and stands for what we in this part of the world think of the outstanding American virtues - honest, fair, patriotic, courageous and intelligent.The big mouthed members of American Eastern media are not only very presumptuous, they are very vulgar and dishonest. It is about time they play fair so they do not continue to insult the intelligence of the American people and the people of the world.
What Washington and America need are elected national officials like Sarah Palin - very fresh, reform-oriented, people-connected and ready to learn.It is a black day for America if Palin and McCain do not get elected VP and Prez of the USA on Novembe4, 2008.

First and foremost, she is something other then the good old boys in DC that are all just **professional** politicians, that say what ever YOU want to hear. She speaks her mind. Look at Obmana's running mate, who during their debates for their party's nomination, didn't good old Joe say that Obama was NOT ready to lead? Now the big turn around???
As for her 17 year old daughter being pregnant, well, she is having this baby, wonder how many of the good old Democratic Senators and Congressmen have daughters who have also gotten pregnant? Oh wait they would have flushed their unwanted pregnancies down the drain. I find it amusing that they are all for abortion rights, feel anyone has the right to kill and unborn child and yet with all of their liberal ideas, coddle murders and terrorist and give them *Their* rights. Heanve forbid they should not be treated well and with respect.
You speak of having Sarah defect to the country she can see from her state, well let's look at Obama's *share the wealth plan*...sounds very much like socialism to me..and it's that what the USSR use to be? Sounds more like we need to send him there. I greatly fear, that if Obama becomes president, the USA will quuickly become the USSA, Uninted States Socialist America.
Again a major change in the Democtes policies, I remember sitting around the TV with my family when I was a 12 years old listening to the presdent at the time, and one part of his speech NEVER left my mind even today, that was **Ask NOT what your contry can do for YOU, but ask what YOU can do for your country**. I'm sure right now with all the free handouts and policies being set forward with his plans, that that democrate is rolling over in his grave! Poor JFK. Socialism is something the US has fought against all over the world, and we have a presidential candidate who wants to bring it home? What next? Communisum?
Everyone questions Palin's ability to lead, and her lack of experience? What about smooth talking B.O....1 year in the Senate....good....and how much do we really know about him? There are a lot of questions I'd really like to have answer that it seems are well hidden. I'm sorry but I'm someone who thinks that being friends with, know radicals, even one is one too many, and I don't care what he says about his disassociation with his long time America hating minster, talk is CHEAP...what goes on after the election is still to be seen.
I just love the idea of taxing the rich even more. Are they are the ones that own what few businesses there are left in this country, after the others have left due to over taxing? and high prices here? So if they pay more taxes, guess who will all be paying higher prices yet again. Talk about a trickle down effect.
Vote for him, I'm sure you will end up regretting it.
Oh and a PS....his health care issues? For those of you who were not around or had you heads in the sand, that happened to be the big promise made the Clintons. What happened?

"We need a Change from the morality expressed in the Clinton years." People who cheat on their spouses are a-holes. But they can still be good leaders. On the other hand, people who are found to violate ethics code after only 20 months in a state office and then continually lie about it, and continually lie about the bridge to nowhere and make divisive comments at rallies go well beyond breaking the boundaries of morality. There were roughly 299,999,997 people NOT having romantic relationships with Clinton, but there COULD be 299,000,000 under authority which Palin has no problem abusing. I'm tired of being lied to and bullied by my country. No one's perfect, but she's just offensive.

I don't careif Sarah drops a few "g"s or if she shoots an occasional moose. She is the brightest new star to come on the political horizon. She may not have been around the block as long as some of those so-called politicians, but she isthe brightest and most refreshing ne face to come along in many a year.

I think it is sad when a good decent woman decides to serve her country, put herself out where every one can critize and make fun of. Obama does not have the experience that she has. He has socialistic ideas and we really don't know that much about him. I think this country will be really surprised if he is elected and we find out about the real Obama.
