Out here in the real everyday world we knew from the git-go what the get Saddam Hussein was all about (he did put out a contract on my daddy after his army was run out of Kuwait--GWB).
That mission really was accomplished.
All that followed was sheer stupidity obvious to everyone except the man with his head stuck in the tarbaby.
Now that his days are literally numbered as commander in chief, The fat cats in Iraq had better prepare to face an irate population with far less of everything a government is supposed to provide than they had under the deposed tyrant.
