Is the Washington Times for Barack Obama?

October 4, 2008 RSS Feed Print

He was the president when the conservative Washington Times started. And Ronald Reagan loved it. But the paper's politics may be changing in a direction the Gipper wouldn't approve. Insiders say the Times, now headed by two ex-Washington Post-men, is considering endorsing Sen. Barack Obama. Times lifers doubt Obama will get the nod, but just considering it is news—and a blow to Sen. John McCain.

Some people are not fit to run for public offices, mainly as president of the United State of America, that's why Sen. McCain and his running-mate Palin are to throwing EXCREMENT to a VENTILATOR and it is going to fly everywhere, this is going to backfire. I don't think this what America needs at this crucial moments.

My first comment Obama - The begining of the end of America. Has nothing to do with race. Race does not enter in, why whenever someone says something about Obama especially those that are for him always cry foul? Is it because thats what they been taught. Perhaps they should think about what Obamas preacher said ( I didn't use the term Pastor because he doesn't deserve it) For someone to say GOD D-- America and Obama attending his services for over twenty years seem quite disturbing. Even if Obama didn't take it to heart, think about all the young people he infected with hate for America.

A.J. Anderson of TX stated in a better way what I meant, but so often the media has to slant things and voice their opinon which if anything they should remain neutral.

General Sherman in the Civil War did not allow reporters in his camp because he said " If you killed them all (meaning reporters) there would be a report from Hell thie evening" Notice he didn't say Heaven....

When Obama first started running for President, I was excited. My reason was simple. Obama was half-black and half-white. I have been waiting and waiting for him to transcend the racial divide and come out and say, " Hey America, here I am, half-black and half-white. I represent the New America. I am liked by whites and blacks, let us call ourselves AMERICANS instead of all these hyphenated labels that we have gotten used to calling ourselves." I am disappointed in him and am wondering who I want to vote for.
