Obama's Coattails Could Help Ebony and Jet

Two media forces in the African-American community are trying out Sen. Barack Obama as a marketing tool. Jet and Ebony tell us that they are unveiling a new line of shirts and bags featuring their logos and Obama's name. The Democratic candidate—the first African-American presidential nominee from a major party—has reached out to new and younger voters, and the publishing house hopes it can piggyback on that bid with its new line of commemorative wear featuring Obama. "The African-American community has been extremely loyal and supportive of our brands for many years," said Linda Johnson Rice, president of the publications. "This product line further establishes the quality of the Ebony and Jet brands while introducing new generations to our legacy." Check out their stuff, and the "Ebony Black Cool" shot of Obama, on their Café Press site.

Obama has a character that reminds everyone of the boy next door who helps the little old ladies in the neighborhood by setting out their garbage cans, going to the grocery store for them, mowing their yards, really caring for those who can't do for themselves. People will see he really cares and will elect him president to ensure a more secure (from angry countries and financial woes) future for them and their children.

I have had mentors of all religions, races, etc. Doe snot mean that I have agreed with everything they say and believe. I take the good and throw away the bad. Dad always told me to find the good in people and go from there.

This attitude would help eliminate the prejudism that exists. It's not right to ALWAYS judge people by the company they keep. Some I associate with to have an opporunity to minster to them in a manner that is not threatening to them.

THINK ABOUT IT!

ARE YOU AWARE, of what just happened to the stock market, and who is the President as of NOW? Let's not search for blame when it is consistently staring Americans in our faces, who is to blame. Barack Obama is the only way. Barack Obama also was responsible in picking a Vice President who could represent in the unlikely event.
