Making people aware of this horrible disease is what is needed. We lost a son to this disease. We hope and pray that no other family will lose a child to this disease. After living with it....I am convinced this is the WORST disease there is on the planet for young boys/men. It took our son 15 years to get from being a "regular" little boy to a quadraplegic that was totally dependent. Despite the physical issues these kids maintain an awesome drive and will to live. This disease needs to be stopped.

Bless you Ryan.

Ryan I am so proud of the way you have taken on the responsibility of being a true role model for not just aspiring children, MD victims, but for all people striving to reach goals, never giving up and doing it with a smile. I think Ryan Lochte has a lot more to offer the World than his swimming talent and I can tell we are going to find out!!

I don't think Lochte will beat Phelps. He had his chance in Beijing and Phelps beat him by very comfortable margins. Even with so many races Phelps is better than anyone on the planet. Lochte already reached his peak in the sport since Phelps and him are almost the same age. Phelps is younger. Lochte will not get better. Phelps already proved that he is the best swimmer ever. I think Lochte is a very good swimmer but not as great as Phelps. He beat Piersol which is very good. and by the way his underwater kick is not better than Phelps.

I have twin sons both afflicted with duchennes. My thanks goes out to others who care join in the fight against this disease. I thank Ryan for being a part of the fight. I must also say how great Pat furlong is, she is so dedicated and a hero in my eyes. I have found that people who have no family member or ffied with this disease, yet they get involved in the fight. I thankyou for that, and once again thankyou Ryan

I have Becker, and I have lived with it for 23 years. It is not fun. I am also glad Ryan is doing this. He is a much needed voice. To those of you that want to learn and help, please visit www.parentprojectmd.org

The bottom line is that Duchenne MD is 100% fatal. We are going to change that.

Rock on Mr. Lochte

Ryan:

God Bless You! You will be remembered for your tremendous concern and interest in DMD. So many are not aware of what this disease really is..it is often confused with MS - so thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will never forget you.
