This new 100-page paperback expansion is LOADED with extras and well worth the purchase (even if you already own the hardbound edition). There is a brand new introduction written by Chuck, addressing topics from the big spending solutions of Washington to advice from Chuck’s 88-year old mother (who lived through the Depression in Oklahoma) for those who are enduring tough economic times right now. There are new major sections (updated for the Obama administration) on the problems with the Federal Reserve, border and amnesty problems, the futility and insanity of federal governments borrowing-spending-bailing out cycles, Obama’s abandoning of America’s Judeo-Christian heritage and secular progressive crusade, Obama’s abominable pro-abortion record and crusade, Obama’s ethic reform problems and unfulfilled promises, Obama’s onslaught against the traditional family, and issues affecting youth like sexting and progressive-liberal education, neo-evolutionary thought and its degradation of human value, etc. The genius in Norris’s book is that (unlike any other cultural manifesto), it incorporates major chapters on how America has abandoned God and can only restore ethics and morality (and civility) across the country by realigning our God-compass (chapter “From here to eternity”) and re-establishing the true value of humanity (chapter six) by understanding what the Bible and our Founders believed about humans (not what scientists are telling us about us being glorified apes. As Norris says, “Why should we be surprised that young people today act like monkeys?”). Norris even incorporates the need for fighting the consumptive wars in our cultural battles in his chapter, “Be fit for the fight.” The book concludes with an entire copy of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and the Ten Commandments. This non-partisan cultural manifesto not only needs to be read by every patriot but every person who calls themselves American!

Norris is a patriot. his secret: hard work and determination. no short-cuts. no side deals. but personal responsibility and fair-mindedness.

we in this country are getting too lazy and irresponsible; this is the cause of most of our problems and sickness.

The maximum tax since 1913 is 60%. It is now 35%. The bottom 50% earn 12.5% of all earnings. We have people earning billions that pay from 5% to 35% while the people earning 75,000 pay 25%. What is wrong with this picture?

Though I agree with Mr. Norris on many things, limiting the number of representatives in Congress is not one of them. Our Founding Fathers worked out this system after MANY MANY days and nights of discussion and compromise. We need to remember that this system of Representatives per Population was one of the checks and balances built into the Constitution. We have already done away with one of those checks (The 17th Amendment changed how Senators were selected). Originally, the Senate was to represent the needs of the States while the House represented the needs of the people. Yes, it seems off balance at times, but it has worked for over 200 years, while other systems have failed. Better to limit the perks and powers Congress keeps giving itself, limit the "pork-barrel spending" it continues to thrive on. Better to require our representatives actually listen to the PEOPLE'S voices, rather than a small loud minority!

This sounds like a wonderful idea Chuck! I have felt, for a long time now, that we have too many "representatives" in Washington...and far too many that are NOT there to serve "the people!" Don't know if your idea is a possible solution in TODAY's world...but it sure may be a good starting point. (I'll have to read your book.)

I know I look forward to McCain-Palin winning the election in November. Because this will put us on our way to reforming Washington!!!

"treason" is a typo, not commentary. I meant to type just "reason".

"The Norris plan would men the voters in the most populated areas would determine what is done in Washington."

Ummm...no. It would mean the opposite. Every state still gets a minimum of 1 rep. To reduce the size of the house to something like 100 members, means a district would represent around 3 million people. Any state with less then 3 million people would still get a rep.

So, this dumb idea would give more power to smaller states, at the expense of the larger states.

The smaller states, by design, are already over weighted in the senate, so there is no treason to do this.

Cutting the goverment in half would make more sense for today. Also we must care for the laws that are on the book now. No jyms in jail, just work. Let the inmates keep the roads clean and up to date. Out of their cells two hour a day except to work. This would make sure they don't plan to go back. The jails are too easy, the food is much too good and exspensive for them. Lets make it like the inmates are being punished for their crime, not a vacation spot. Let them do what would make money for the state. This would mean less taxes for the people.

We could cut the salaries of the House , and make them do their jobs. No work, no pay, No trips on free planes.
