Funny I was thinking the same thing. What if I had to cover the RNC I’d hate it, lies and more lies. It will be interesting to see if he does the George Bush thing sprinkle in some minorities or tokens and paying some performers big bucks to show up for them and lie, lie, lie:-) One big song and dance pushing a war we should not have fought, no taxes for the rich and home security be careful who you call on your cell phones:-) Keith Oberman is going to have a field day oh and who can forget Mcsames acceptance speech that’s not change you can believe and that creepy smile. Oh and will he end up with a new wife and VP now that Cindy’s getting old and will he call her a c*** when he gets upset with her? And will they keep the party going while their drowning in New Orleans? We’ll just have to wait and see

I think this is petty. This is undermining the American right to have respect for your beliefs. Not agreement, but at least tolerance and a modicom of respect. It seems that lately, the democrats have been holding a remarkably high double standard. Obama's campaign makes a rude remark about Palin, then says it was a mistake. Convient. Get your message out there and then act like it was not your fault, not something for which you should be held accountable. The Obama campaign maintains a "brand" supposedly driven by Mr. Axelrod's gut, rather than Obama's. I don't care about Axelrod. What does Obama really think, feel, believe? Why does everything Obama do or say have to go through Axelrod's gut? Entrancing. I know that is part of the political game, I am sure McCain has guys processing too. Obama just seems a bit more put on than McCain does. I don't relate to him. I am not sure I can relate to McCain either.

But Sarah Palin? I can relate to her. Her entrance to the race adds a whole new level of interest to the campaign for me. She is someone I can be passionate about electing. Someone I can believe in. I have watched her rise in Alaska, without any political processor maintaining her brand. I feel I can trust her. Experience? I would rather have Palin's experience as a governor over Obama's senator experience. I was way more interested in the Democrats during the primary season. Now, Obama's charm has definately worn thin for me. Give me McCain and Palin!

where is the pocket-size "Who's Who in American Politics" in order to identify obscure characters?

The dnc was an eye opener because it exposed the lies and manipulations of the republican party.

Looks like the dumbocrates are realizing that their empty suit leading wimp and his 2nd string with all his baggage along with his son being a major lobbyist getting millions to bribe politicians is going to lose by a land slide.

Yes, once again we see the empty suit flip flopping. says he is against big government then adds a VP that is know to be big government, along with his son that has just help lobby several laws to help credit card companies stick it to us.

Now the empty suit want to raise our taxes 19% to 25% and also raise the taxes on gas. Boy I can already see my money flying out of my pocket if the dumbocrates win the white house.

I sure cannot afford any more taxes and all of these empty promises. Promises with not real plan and a flip flopper. So nothing the empty suit says will happen as he will change his mind and back usual policy again.

Being a lifelong Democrat, it's not going to be easy seeing the town where I live overrun with Republicans. I wish I could get a survival kit!

The weather reports sound as though "the story" is going to be on the gulf coast, not in St. Paul.
