Chris Matthews Denies Calling Clinton a 'She-Devil'

I cannot believe such a seemingly sincere and honorable man like Chris Matthews can be soooooooooo off base in his thinking! Why does he come off as such a bleeding heart liberal? Does he really see the world as a place that is all kum-byaa....not sure I spelled that right. The world is a place of serious foment, and we must be ever vigilant in the protection of our beloved country. Has he ever read "Atlas Shrugged"? He and Obama should! For God sake, save us from his insane nonsense. Our forefathers are turning over.... If you can possibly believe this, I like Chris. And I watch his show, but golly gee whiz come on , Chris.... Whose fox hole would you rather be in when the shooting starts....Jimmy the jerk Carter or George the x alcoholic Bush. I know you know the double meaning here, Chris. It takes a real man to over come his "problem". You never give him credit for anything. And the constant odd pronunciation of Cheney...well that is getting old and seems very rude. But, thank God we live in this great country. Sure wish you could see it that way too.

Dear Sir,

First time I saw Chris Matthews was at my daughter graduation from Beaver College, Pa. He was the speaker at the School. I have to say, he did give a very good speaks at the school.

Since he been on his own show on MSNBC, Chris Matthews, is very opinionated and doesn't care how his word cause hurt other people.

I will not watch him and I think his show should be Cancel on MSNBC, this show is not like the honorable man, who had his own show and was fair to his guest, that man was Tim Russet.

Thank You,

I have watched every show each of them has made. I believe that only Fox News is and has been more biased against Hillary and that most of McCains strategy and meanness has resulted from the omnipresent negativism toward her. They almost single handidly provided the ammunition for her defeat and now with snide giggles are providing the venom to support McCains pack of lies. I had waited all my life for a woman to get there. The feminine bench simply doesnt have the depth yet so I will not see what she has earned and has the right to. I will vote for Obama because I cant put another Republican into office, particularly one who continues with the myth that we are winning in Iraq because we arent killing as many as a year ago. But I will still cry

When this campaign started I was very conflicted. This was, from the very start, a defining moment in history. I was "not very proud of my country" until I heard President Clintons address when he left the White house. I was so very impressed with that speach and viewed Bill Clinton as a true hero of the people. That speach was heart felt, as good as any that Obama has given, and for the first time I recognized the depth of American history. For the first time I wanted to be a real part of the American experience. I read Hillary's story. It is truely remarkable - her struggles, her sacrifices, her comitment to making America greater. I truely believe that she would be a great president.

The conflict started when I listened to the Obama story. What would I do? Who would I support? I wanted the democratic party to come together. The two political figures that I now had the greatest respect for, Hillary Rodman Clinton and Barrack Hussain Obama, were fighting each other tooth and nail. It was, to me like two best friends slowly killing each other. I wished for the day when they would give each other a hug and stop the nonsense.

Clinton was the one who resolved my conflicts. It was clear that Barrack wanted a clean fight and Hillary who would resort to any method to find victory. To me she became the she devil and my support turned 100% to Barrack Obama.

HILLARY DID THIS.

For a while I wanted to make sure, in any little way that I could, that Hillary had no part on the Obama ticket. She had become a she devil. Now, my feelings have softened, and Hillary once more commands my respect. However, these "disenfranchised, disrespected" Hillary supporters, who are willing to vote for John McCain truely disgust me. Clearly you have no real desire for politcal change, no true desire to improve America, and no interest in promoting the democratic agenda. I would be supporting Hillary Wholehartedly if Barrack had lost. She would be the best choice. You, however, are willing to attack everything negative that has been said against Hillary and try your very best to derail the democratic party. You are truely sad!

I do not believe that Chris matthews intended to offend Hillary or her supporters. He did not call her a she devil. Relax, lets come together. The democratic party and all of America needs all of us to ELECT BARRACK OBAMA!!!

It's true that both of them seem to care less about presenting the news and far too much about one-upping each other. They just had a little on-camera tiff during the convention commentary a few moments ago.

Matthews was in the middle of a rant and Olberman apparently signaled for him to wrap it up. Matthews snapped back at Olberman with some cryptic comment that seemed to stem from past conflicts between the two. It was clearly venomous and quite startling, given that the two were on national television.

Both of these guys should be cut loose by MSNBC. One is more offensive than the other, depending on the situation.

Chris is capable of lying..he has wormed himself out

of this before...I heard him...he did say it in the

context that he said...but we all know who he was

talking about...He does not like the Clintons, or

Hillary to be exact...He needs to get a handle on

how he talks about people if he wants to run for the

Senate...He has talked terrible about her, and has

jumped on every word....but has covered up for Obama....

Talk about being fair...he needs to open his eyes,

and realize all the people out here are not rich,

and there is poor areas...He has discounted that so

many times....He helped get Bush re elected so

now he has pushed Obama over the edge....Good going

Chris...you have lost a lot of loyal fans....I am

glad you are not from OHIO, because I sure would not

vote for you!

You yapping wackos need to change the channel! Olberman is not for you. You have FOX, CNN, and every affiliate (which comprises pretty near all media) to sing your favorite songs. For the rest of us, there is Olberman. MSNBC has recognized there is a market for people who like long sentences rather than sound bites, who want (some) complexity in their news reporting, who don't see the world in black and white, and who simply are not so dumb as to confuse Fox News with journalism. It's a business decision on their part, and one that is long overdue.

It's not just the men bashing Clinton. Her "sisters" enjoy it too. Ever get a chance to listen to Andrea Mitchell (whoops, almost mispelled her name). You'd think she was on the Obama staff!!!

She devil is a nice name for Hillary Clinton. The term conniving b*tch is oh so much more apt when describing this evil harridan.

unreconstructed confederate of NY 12:24PM August 26, 2008

SO! What's the point? I think that is about as kind a phrase that can be used in describing her.
