Warts and all - Biden was the only Democratic Presidential Candidate who had the credentials run in the first place. His only problem is that he suffers from a disease that requires him to constantly talk even to the extent of filling the air with completely useless information. He also had some wacky idea about partitioning Iraq into Kurd/Sunni/Shia that is a recipe for disaster. Normally the VP assumes a (telegenic) image that is subservient and loyal to the President. Biden, however, may require strict lanes in order for the Prez to keep him from straying publicly with a stream of consciousness that might undermine the President's policy. I am certainly not going to vote for Obama, but Biden would be a benign, acceptable choice because we're used to him, unlike Obama.

What does choosing Biden say about Obama? That Obama is too young, too inexperienced, and needs baby-sitting. Dumb. Biden, like others being considered as VP, is also NOT acceptable because he voted for the war in Iraq.

Joe Biden is a great Senator. I think he will make an excellent Vice President. Kudos to Senator Biden.

Biden's no bull style is refreshing, His foreign Affairs resume can't be beat by anyone, Debating skills (knowlegable and witty), Track record of leading to get bi-partisan bills thru, Respected by World Leaders and Military Generals. Biden, great choice by far.

It is obvious that you and your so called US News are not News at all, but merely another arm of the right wing media bought and paid for by the likes of those who have pushed our Constitution aside while making the rich and powerful richer and more powerful and while claiming that there is a left wing or liberal media instead.

What a great ticket this would make. Age, experienced, knowledge, would help Obama stay on track, would be a spokesman for tighter budgeting, could step as presz if need be.

Obama/Biden 08! If he does choose Senator Biden I hope he has a position in mind for both Clark and Richardson. I think either of them would be fabulous choices too although for somewhat different reasons. Just... please... no HRC under any circumstances. I wish her a long career in the Senate... hell, let her become Governer. She is just not a fit for this ticket.
