Who do you think did better?

A quote from your post: "McCain supporters are hostile, quarrelsome and bitterly opposed to anyone that does not share their life style and convictions."

If you read over your post you might see a little bit of yourself in this description.

why no coverage on McCain screwing around on his first wife when he returned from Vietnam to find her disabled and scared after a car accident. He married Cindy a month after divorcing the first Mrs. McCain. I am tired of hearing about McCain's honor. He volunteered for Nam because he wanted to be an Admiral like his daddy and grand daddy. With his service record before war experience and his barely passing at the Academy he needed to be in the war for any hope at admiral. He is selfish and has always been selfish. His honor is like his height...all in his head.

Crist is gay but no one will print that. Crist is running around with a younger woman...after many years of not finding the right one...kind of like Lindsay Graham....Crist and Graham could share a house in DC if Crist was VP.

IS McCAIN’S CAMPAIGN GETTING TORPEDOED BY HIS OWN SUPPORT SYSTEM?

It sure looks like it.

This just proves that the far left and liberals in general just didn't have a problem with Bush. They have a problem with anyone that thinks different than them.

I have yet to see ONE comment about McCain being a moderate, which he still is, even though he is kissing the right-wing butt a bit more now. Obama has no clue, he is too inexperienced and his wife is a potential disaster, since she may go off and say something extremely stupid.

McCain served his country and suffered for years overseas, I think you should all consider that is he NOT George W. Bush.

Thank you.

Wouldn't it be great if all Republicans were not allowed to vote? That's what all the desperate lefties secretly wish for (since having them exterminated would eliminate the left's riches). That would be great, no Republicans ever voted into office again. How awesome would that be? Perfect. Raise taxes on the rich...but by a lot more - like 80% or 90% tax rate for the wealthiest of the wealthy. Give all that money to government education, government healthcare, government insurance, government alternative energy projects like wind and solar. Give even more to the poor and uneducated who choose not to work smarter or harder. Double the wages of hard working laborers and factory workers because they deserve it. Open the borders to everyone who wants to come to America. Make sure all nuclear power plants and oil refineries are shut down, and make sure you stop all current drilling and oil extraction from within our country. Give everyone who wants it free childcare, and free heat and electricity if they cannot afford it. Now make sure you then raise taxes even more on the rich and the sort-of rich. Now make sure you tipple the budget for the arts, and to colleges and universities. Double the salaries of the deserving teachers. Double the salaries of the hard working police. Remove our military presence from all regions of the globe...peace brother. Make sure you pass laws requiring 200 miles per gallon by 2014, but we must be carbon-free by 2018. Of course we'll have to triple the tax rate on businesses. The government needs to run the oil companies, and the pharmaceutical companies, and the banks, and the utilities. Make sure all workers get a four-day work week with ten weeks paid vacations each year, plus a full pension starting at age 50 with increased social security payments.

That would be a great start, wouldn't it. Then we could shut down Wal-mart and Target and K-mart. Then we can get the speed limit down to 45 miles per hour. Then we could build light rail train stations all across the country, and add bike lanes everywhere. Then we could build toll roads and have everyone who drives pay $10 to get on any highway - that'll pay for more trains. Then we could take over the airlines because they're evil and unsafe. We'd be a real country then...proud to be Americans...proud to live where everyone get's paid a good wage. Where everyone gets healthcare, and childcare, and free food, and free services, and affordable housing, and clean streets, and no crime...all under the watchful and caring and nurturing eye of the government...so much could get done if only those pesky Republicans would never vote.

Isn't Communism great.

Keep dreaming lefties. You're in the minority. As weak a candidate as McCain is and how hard you laugh and look down your noses at him...you're going to be so disappointed when the feeble President Elect McCain graciously accepts Obama's concession speech in just a few short months.

It's funny: I don't have much against Obama and have seriously considered voting for him. But every time one of Obama's supporters opens his or her mouth I inch closer and closer to McCain.

PS: What business of yours is it if McCain's son is a drug user? What possible bearing does it have on McCain's ability to lead. Hasn't Obama himself admitted to using drug?

Dee: I seriously almost threw up in my mouth a little when I read your post. If you truly want Obama to win, you need to learn how to keep quiet, because when people such as yourself associate with Obama it drives potential voters away. You have a point though: I can really see how much more tolerant and respectful Obama's supporters are when you praise yourself and then immediately trash not only McCain, but the entirety of his constituent base of which you claim to be omniscient. All of Obama's supporters are thoughtful and analytical? Get a grip. There are a lot of intelligent Obama supporters and a lot of intelligent reasons to support him, but you know damn well that most of his under-30 supporters are going to vote for him not because they have any grasp whatsoever of world affairs, but because he's not an old white guy.

Republicans have truly showed how much they care about THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.This country is in such bad shape. It's been a very very long 8 YEAR'S AND THIS COUNTRY HAD BETTER WAKE UP IN THIS NEXT ELECTION.WE CANT AFFORD ANOTHER REPUBLICAN THE NEXT 4 YEAR'S.IT'S BAD WHEN ALL OTHER COUNTRIES HATE US BECAUSE WE HAD OUR CHANCE 4 YRS AGO TO PUT AN END TO THIS ADMINISTRAION.ALEAST I CAN SAY I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.it's just a SHAME we all had to suffer.....

Richard Bunn of GA 3:48PM August 05, 2008

John McCain is confused, showing signs of dementia and is mindlessly spouting dirty politics talking points from corrupt Republicans. Another four years of Bush would totally destroy our country and this is what the American people would get with McCain. For the sake of our country, we must make sure that Barack Obama is elected President.
