I will not vote for Obabyama if he does not pick Hillary and I may still not vote for him after hearing the Ludacris Rap song today even if he picks Hillary. He has got to stand up and be strong against racism on all sides.

Obama can assure himself of losing 80% of the vote in the midwest by selecting Bayh. I think Obama is smart enough not to select someone from a neighboring state. Geographically that would be suicide. Bayh isn't even that highly thought of in Indiana anymore and his name recognition nationwide is at 2%.

Obama will certainly lose election if he does not pick Hillary as his VP. I will vote for John Macain if Hillary is not on the ticket.

I majored in political science in college and I predicted back in February/March of 2008 that Obama's best choice for V.P. was Bill Richardson. Richardson is a Governor and former Cabinet secretary - so that provides the executive experience Obama lacks. He was also U.N. Ambassador, so that provides Obama with some foreign policy and diplomatic experience. Richardson is a Hispanic and a Westerner - factors that put in play states like Nevada, possibly Arizona, Colorado, and Montana. The Democrats have made inroads in this area, especially in Governor's races, and can only capitalize on their gains. Richardson is also pro-gun and more conservative than Obama - thus providing idelogical balance to the ticket.

I can't believe anyone still believes Clinton would make a good running mate for Obama, who has said repeatedly that he wants someone who he can work with and who will advise him in running the executive branch of government. That's not Clinton. All but Biden are relatively new faces to the national scene. Frankly, anyone who makes the governing team stronger and Obama a stronger leader is the right choice. Maybe Clinton will be back in 2016.

Well I am voing for Obama regardless but if he picks Bayh then not only will he lock IL. he will also lock IN. Bayh is basically a God here, even with Rep. It could be the first time IN votes for a Dem. Presidential canadite in about 50 years, perhaps longer. I come from a very Rep. friendly area in SW IN and now live in Indy but even down there Bayh is so beloved that even the uneducated white males that Obama is unpopular with Bayh as his VP the state is VERY likely to swing his way. IN may not have the high electoral college vote of CA. NY. FL. but it is strategic in that in would take a nearly certain lock away from McCain and essentially give it to Obama. That is a symbolic victory that could create a ripple effect in other rural, uneducated, white states that typically go Rep. Now he may not win them but it forces McCain to spend resources in states that should be his outright and give Obama more of an edge in other more contentious states. Do the other canadites do this for him, honestly I do not know enough about them or their home states to say but I would doubt it. Bayh is a unusually well liked politican in Indiana and brings back memories of a better time. Not to mention it puts someone one breath away from the presidency that is, well.... how do I say this P.C.? White Male and Christian. Anyways if this is who he has it narrowed down to my analysis says it should be Bayh unless the other canadites could bring more benefit to Obama or do more damage to McCain. Ironically I am moving to AZ. next month and for the first time a Dem. Pres. Canadite has a shot in IN. I will have to vote in AZ. Ughhh. Well Take my comments for what they are worth to you but I say Bayh.

i think everyone is wrong. neither one of the candidates above will be VP. i think the waiting and all was just to keep everyone wondering. now it's time to unveil the true VP. the dream team everyone wants OBAMA&CLENTON the new PRESIDENT &VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Though all of the selections for VP are great, I still feel that Hillary Clinton should be in the selection for possible running mate. Not only do she have the knowledge that will overall be a factor in the new era, but she also has 18 million supporters backing her up. She has stood strong to the nation when they tried to crush her, and she has prevailed in many obstacles that have been brought to the table. I feel in my heart that she can and will be a respectful candidate to our future President Obama and an honorable Vice President to our Country.

I think having any of them will be a winner. Also I feel that Biden brings the 'older' person that people will want. Bahy is a great person but two young persons is OK with me but it may not go well with others. Gov. Kaine has a lot in common with Obama and that is truly what you need so you can work together and also beable to say when you are going in the wrong direction and still hold your own. I truly would like to see David Axelrod. (smile) He is truly a leader.

All these are good, especially Biden but Obama should keep looking.
