WHO DO YOU WANT AS YOUR ELECTED OFFICIAL TO REPRESENT YOU?

Best way is to make a check list with the pro's and con's of both candidate's and look at them side by side comparing them with your future goals to complete.

Myself I can't say I'm either party but I just can't find myself voting for a man who may not make it through his presidential term, who's only trying to accomplish his life long dream's to be president before he dies. Senator McCain has already had serious health issue's during his presidential running by being omittetd into the hospital for health problem's.

I feel it's time for a change which can be very unexpected at this point no matter the candidate but look at our economy falling to the wayside knowing that it will take someone young with enthusiasm to accomplish this long drawn out process after a previous screwed up president who sent our economy into recession deeply.

So, If your republican or democrat think about what is best for the country not just what's best for your political party and vote for the candidate that will bring positive long term goals to work.

This has nothing to to with a political party but America's future. Take a serious look before voting !

Caroline is my age and I remember watching her and her little brother when I was five years old...in the White House. I think she has broad experience, has most likely tracked politics closely through her family ties, and represents the modern version of a renaissance woman with diverse interests and depth and complexity in her thoughts. She also traveled quite a bit as a kid, and clearly has a graceful sense of international diplomacy, like her mom. Don't underestimate this soccer mom. I have been a fan of this particular one since I was in Kindergarten!

By the way, I was pitching for Hillary...but after hearing her, I feel like she needs a vocal coach before she tries to run again. Caroline is charismatic as well as tuned in and intelligent. In general the Kennedy's (in this particular clan) are over the top idealists...the type of idealism that comes with money...but are cultured enough to present a modest persona to those less fortunate. The biggest question would be, does Caroline want to be in line for one of the most dreadful jobs in the U.S. I suspect that she would ease into this slowly, so waiting for a cycle or two (and working her way up) would give her kids a chance to set up their own young adult lives. I'm one of those swing voters who voted for Clinton because he seemed to actually listen to what people wanted and said...and because I wasn't going to make the mistake of voting for a Bush a second time. Here's to My Generation, the tail end of the baby boomers, and Caroline Kennedy...our icon!

I know that the democratic way is the best way. It is the way that our Father planned for it to be .To all the ones that do not agree with it. "Get over it" the change is bound to happen!

I think that CK would be an outstanding 2nd to the Obama ticket. I am so tired of the "experience" running this country into the ground. It takes smart people that are willing to challenge the status quo, and STOP the insanity that is WASHINGTON politics today....

He who laughs last, wins....

lol

Despite quite the dis-information campaign throughout the day (KC printing companies, loud mouth limo drivers and that mystery Chicago Tribune phone call) Obama has subtly allowed the public in on his VEEP choice:

Yes, Obama and Kennedy would be a pair who have not been tied to government very long. Exactly what we need: a couple of outsiders to come in and clean up. As for pulling in voters, name recognition counts more than experience. Just look at Hillary Clinton or George Bush Jr. All about name recognition.

Unfortunely, the reason this is definitely not going to happen is because ti makes far too much sense. Such things rarely happen in this country.

REFRESHING HOPE. WHAT MORE PERFECT IDEA IS FOR CAROLINE KENNEDY TO BECOME VICE PRESIDENT..... THAT IS A GREAT IDEA. THIS IS WHAT WE ALL NEED NOW!

THIS WILL BE A BOOST!

THIS MUST BE INDEED A JOKE BUT:

THE INTERESTING AND SAD THING ABOUT THIS IS THAT IF OBAMA DID PICK CAROLINE KENNEDY FOR HIS RUNNING MATE IT WOULD BE ONLY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE KENNEDY NAME, WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE.

AND THE TRUTH IS JOHN F. KENNEDY WAS MUCH MUCH MORE CONSERVATIVE THAN BARACK OBAMA IS AND IF HE WERE ALIVE TODAY WOULD PROBABLY VOTE FOR JOHN MC CAIN RATHER THAN OBAMA.

I DO AGREE WITH BARACK OBAMA ON ONE THING AND THAT IS CHANGE IS NEEDED. WE NEED TO CHANGE HIS JOB TITLE FROM POLITCIAN TO MAYBE SOMETHING LIKE A NEW YORK TAXI DRIVER. I MEAN AFTER ALL HE'S GOT THE NAME FOR IT.

Talk about lack of kuth or experience...two words...George Bush

Can't wait for change of WI 1:16PM August 22, 2008

Caroline Kennedy for Vice President? So, now name recognition trumps experience and competence ... well, I guess it's working for Barack Obama ... so, why not his running mate as well. If Obama is elected, this country is going to hell in a hand basket.
