It was very interesting for me to read that article. Thanks for it. I like such themes and anything connected to this matter. I would like to read more soon. BTW, pretty nice design you have here, but what do you think about changing it from time to time?

At a recent dinner a group of invitees were discussing the olympics and pointed out the fantastic job and Bob Costas was doing - his demeanor, pleasant voice, appearance and his ability to do his job/interviews just outstanding. Some of his in fact suggested that he appeared to be the kind of individual that could possibly fill Tim Russert's slot. He appears to be good on his feet during interviews; he has a calmness that is reassuring, a gentleman, and informative.

Thank you.

Bob Costas? You gotta be kidding!

With homagae to Bob Costas, for whom I have great respect, there really is NO ONE ( one & 1) who can replace Tim Russert on Meet the Press.

Perhaps one might consider 2 individuals who can work & play well together.

A thought for a winning combination of brains, contrast and gravitas - Rachel Maddow and Chuck Todd.

What would Tim do? That's the answer to the question!

Chris Mathew is the only one who could come clos to Russet and the MSNBC Family and the world Knows it

Matthews would be great, but would it be a promotion?

Another consideration is finding someone whom is an excellent political mind and interviewer but unknown nationally. I'm sure there are some "local" talents that could replace Tim. With already known national talents, they will always be compared to Tim Russert.

David Gregory, Anderson Cooper, or Wolf Biltzer - NO WAY!!

I think Chris Matthews might be a good choice.

Costas would be excellent for MTP. He starts with the facts, gets both sides, brings out the elements of human interest and always gets the story. And....he would remain down the middle rather than have that slight tilt to the left that is always apparent on Meet The Press.

Tim Russert can not be replaced but the person who follows him will have to work very hard and be on the ball.

Chuck Todd is Russert's guy, he's smart as a whip, and he has garnered praise from both sides of the political spectrum - which he only reluctantly accepted. He's the kind of non-personality personality who should be at the helm. A look around the buzz will show his name has surfaced repeatedly....

David Gregory is such a die-hard hard-right ideologue, there is no way he would be taken seriously in the role as Meet the Press host.

Whenever he hosts his "Race for the Whitehouse" show, he lets the other guests pile on to Rachel Maddow. There may be "all points of view in the room" but in reality it is five hard right-wingers against one or two moderates, so the bias is heavily right-wing.
