Wes Clark, Obama's Hot Potato

What a huge lie! Talk about attacking a real war hero.

Wes Clark was not relieved of duty due to conduct unbecoming or any other reason, you got some proof on that? Post it, that will be the day.

Clark didn't attack McCain and even said he was a personal hero to him.

All he was saying was Mc Cain was never in a command position during battle, to make it simple , giving orders during battle.

Decision making at the core.

Clark was not a bad leader. Read his "book" of credentials and accomplishments and you will have to face the facts.

Wes Clark petitioned for the war to stop a genecide and won it without US lives being lost . He is well known and respected the world over by Kings, Queens, presidents ect.

He has streets named after him for petes sake.

McCain was offered a release from pow because his father and grandfather were Admirals.

He came home to a wife who waited for him helped him rehabilitate and he cheated on her and dumped her then wrote in a book that he didn't till after they were separated.

This was proven false and when called to task on it by TIm Russert he just smiled and said "I take responsibility for my divorce"

and kept smiling,

I watched the interview, Tim gave him a second chance to make it right but all he did was SMILE again and say" I take responsibility for my divorce" Tim was asking why he wrote that in his book he didn't see another woman until he was separated when in fact he did. McCain was disloyal to his first wife and lied about it in a book.

Google it , Iam sure you can find interview with the late great Tim Russert and Mc Cain.

talk about character and lack of it.

Well , I guess the election has proven for once the US public didn't get duped again.

General Clark was a great commander of NATO. I was in Nato between 1960-1963 in Landsthl, Germany. When Obama first started running for President, I suggested Gen. Clark to be in Defense. Obama approved the measure. Obama cannot be a leader in war, he needs strong military advisers who will be dedicated to the cause and be straight forward with the president, not like Rumsfeld. Our next big war will be with Afghanistan. It will be a big one because all the insurgents are going there. Al-Quida is training their troops there, plus it is on the border of Pakistan where Bin Laden is.

McCain was not just shot down, held as pow and tortured for five years. what really stands out about his time as pow was he was given the opportunity to go home because his father was an admiral but he told them he would not leave until all the other pows who were there before him were home. McCain is a hero. By itself does not qualify him to be president. however it goes to show you the kind of character he has. which is something that should be considered when voting for a president

Ladies and gentlemen of the press, thank you for meeting me at this Captain D's Seafood Kitchen as I elaborate on the comments of my client, Wesley Clark.

First off, Gen. Clark's comments were taken wildly out of context. Yes, he said, "I don't think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to be president," but also unspoken and implied is that Sen. McCain failed to find his way back to friendly territory like you see in the movies all the time. What message are we sending to our hopeful, cinephile youth if we elect this kind of quitter?

Gen Patton also graduated toward the bottom of the pack (at West Point). I guess according to the logic presented earlier (about McCain's ranking at the Naval Academy) ,Patton would of also been a lousy choice to run for president . #1 at anything only means something if you have "wisdom" to go along with it.

Obama is about as far left as your going to get . If you look through his past voting record he is a virtual Socialist if not wrse. Obama is a one scary dued. And so is his wife . ( read her college thesis that refers to white society if you don't think so) Obama has no credential to be president - none. He is a talker with no substance. His mesages change from week to week. He plays to the cheering crowd. Hold on to your wallet if he becomes president. And just watch your taxes and those gas prices shoot up ($10 a barrel) cause the democratis - as in the past won't allow for any drillng. re McCain and his military experience, well gee, there, was something called character at one time, and that qualified one for all kinds of responsibility. Haven't seen much character in Wes Clark or John Kerry - more like cowardice than character. but that's leadership in the democratic party now. The concern is that so many democrats ( er sheep) follow that type of leadership

Ret. Gen Clark managed (not led) the NATO war against Serbia over Kosovo. His opportunity to really show some judgment led to utter confusion during the conflict. His pressure to get results led to unnecessary bombing of effectual targets and dissatisfaction within the Alliance (Gen George C Marshall is turning in his grave). Any other war and boss, and he would of been fired almost immediately. Credibility is the key to making criticisms that will will hold weight. Seeking advice about presidential qualities and experience from Ret Gen Clark is as sensible as seeking medical advice from a car mechanic. Simply not qualified to critically comment.

Oh, for heaven's sake, Obama certainly blew it. I would take Clark over Gephardt anyday for a vice president. Clark is very much a statesman and has the military experience and "might," to shore up what is woefully lacking in Obama. And on top of that, Obama has gone soft on NAFTA (why build a fence at the southern border when the teck and manufacturing jobs are being outsourced??), in addition he is verbalizing how he will incorporate "faith-based" organizations into the White House agenda...saying nothing about the discrimination in hiring that often happens with these type of groups. gad.

What a shame that so many have taken to putting down a war hero, rather than just acknowledging his contribution to the overall message- that we owe our freedoms to our military men and women, of present and past. McCain served with honor- that should be undisputed. Shame on Wes Clark- his service may not be any less distinguished, but at least McCain is a class act, who would never say anything less about Wes Clark-- too bad Wes is NOT a class act. Nor is Obama-- he is clearly inexperienced, and clearly hasn't a great deal of respect for our military, past and present-- he is simply an opportunist, who is looking to get ahead, any way he can, any lie he can tell. Christian? Nope- he was raised Muslim, and only started attending a Christian church when his wife wanted him to align himself this way, in order to run for congress. There are many, MANY other inconsistencies about this man-- another being the fact that he aligned himself with Black Supremacists, in the preachers and in his past. There is much that does not immediately meet the eye-- check out SNOPES.COM for Michele Obama's Thesis from Princeton, that is proven, and fact, that she is a bigot against whites.
