Abortion Moves Back Into Political Spotlight With Black Minister Protest

Do U think there is a correlation between fornication and abortion, especially in minority neighborhoods? Do U think that there is also a connection between abortion & lazy and shiftless black males who don't or won't take care of their parental responsibilities when they sire children out of wedlock. Don't blame only the abortion industry because they, like any other business, go where the customers and money are. Maybe it's moral decadence which feeds this industry.

The fact that black unborn babies die disproportionately from abortion is entirely due to the fact that black pregnant women disproportionately want/need abortions. That means that if abortion were banned, black women would be disproportionately criminalized, maimed, and killed by illegal abortions. Or, they would be disproportionately forced to grow unwanted pregnancies and give birth against their wills. RTLism would be at least as racist as abortion-on-demand.

Regarding Margaret Sanger: Racism was the norm in the first half of the Twentieth Century. And racism was not the only strange idea floating around. For instance, the Catholic Church had this idea that women should not be allowed to vote, and managed to keep France from allowing women the vote until 1944.

To see what happens when RTLs are in charge, look at the Philippines, whose constitution supports the RTL of unborn babies, and where BOTH abortion providers AND women seeking abortions (and self-aborting women) are routinely sent to prison for up to six years. And yet, everyone (including RTL organizations like Physicians for Life) seems to agree that their per capita abortion rate is higher than ours in the USA.

Council of Europe Passes Abortion Resolution to Address Child Abandonment

...""What kind of world do politicians live in where they call for the abortion of children in order to avoid their abandonment at birth?" he added.

Yes, that would be the same sort of agitprop that keeps uncovering Planned Parenthood clinic abuses and illegality, Planned Parenthood's fondness for manufacturing statistics, and Planned Parenthood's penchant for offering abortions to young girls with adult boyfriends.

I swear, if these fifth columnists would just let PP do its thing, Obama could get elected and sign the Freedom of Choice Act.

This looks like a thinly disguised and amateurish attempt at agitprop by the anti-abortionists. The Communists in the 1930's were the real pros at this sort of aggressive propaganda. Perhaps the "African-American pastors" -- if that's who they actually are -- should study a few of the 1930's Communist pamphlets before cooking up their next attempt.

If you don't see racism then you should learn the history of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood. She was part of the Eugenics Movement of the 1920's and was friendly with other eugenicists, the KKK and the Nazis. All of these wanted a purer society, they simply had different methods of eliminating what they considered undesirables. Sanger wanted to convince poor women that birth control was her only option, as a means of lowering immigrant and black populations before they grew unmanageable. Her son Alan Guttmacher brought in abortion in the sixties after birth control was acceptable as the logical next step.

Today, there are far more Planned Parenthood abortion mills in poorer neighborhoods, where women often out of desperation choose to end their children's lives. I work with Crisis Pregancy Centers who offer the women real options which include a way out of poverty, not a supposed 'quick fix' which may leave emotional and physical scars for a lifetime.

Just ask Dr. Alveta King, who regerets her two abortions, and said that her uncle Dr. Martin Luther King did not approve of abortion. Blacks have the highest aboriton rates and this has made Hispanics the biggest minority population in the US.

We have to love the poor enough to give them real options. Killing one's own child should never be a solution to poverty. Mother Teresa knew from working with the poor that "a nation which kills it's children is a nation without hope."

I don't see any racism, but I see very selfish people telling others it is all right to commit terrible atrocoties in the name of practicality.

Of the 1.5 million aborted every year in the USA [some say the estimate is too low]

all races are represented.]

This terrible thing has been going on a long time, but was accelerated by the Supreme Court decision of 1972....

The Supreme Court must admit it's mistake and change the law again, and then it will take many years of proper education to teach people the value of all human life..
