Huckabee Bikes His Way to Dorkdom

It's not the normal way to draw attention to a vice presidential bid, but former GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has rarely been conventional. And that certainly goes for his new mode of transportation: riding through Little Rock, Ark., on a Specialized or Trek bicycle. "My kids think I look like a dork, but it's the ultimate multitasking of getting in a good workout, saving fuel and money, and getting my errands done," Huckabee tells us. "I do get some strange looks using the drive-through window at the bank on a bicycle sometimes," says the champion dieter—who is said to be on Sen. John McCain's short list of vice presidential possibilities.

Survey USA is currently taking a series of polls to determine the VP candidate (Out of Governor Huckabee, Senator Lieberman, Governor Pawlenty, and Governor Romney) who will help John McCain the most.

So far they have taken polls in Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Virginia, California, Ohio, Iowa, Kansas, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Oregon, New York, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Alabama, and Kentucky.

In almost every case, Governor Mike Huckabee has been shown to be the most helpful candidate for John McCain in terms of winning votes.

Huckabee is the people's choice, He has won every legitimate internet VP poll, some by landslide proportions. Many Democrats are trying to get anyone else to run with McCain. I think McCain will be smart enough to pull the trigger, name Mike, and get rid of the dead wood who caused the catastrophic mistakes of the past 8 years. Now if only we could also get rid of Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, George Will, Charles Krauthammer, Fred Barnes etc. They are the real enemies of the state.
